Real Touch Maids

We are so glad we purchased the and quot;Big Dealand quot; offer for the total housecleaning by Real Touch Maids. A crew of four women and their manager came to the house, and for two hours the women cleaned the entire house. They were friendly, efficient, and did a great job. The results were even better than we expected! We now would like to get them in quarterly to do a thorough cleaning.

Hired them to do what they described as a deep clean. Showed them around, pointing out specific issues. Asked that blankets all be tucked under ends of mattresses. All were left loose. Asked that laundry room deep sink be scrubbed. Had to call them back in to do. Ceiling fans were not done. Asked them to come back to do them. Still not done. Lightweight beanbag chair in daughters room - I found clothes behind it after they left, so they didn't pick up anything to vacuum. Soap dispensers in bathrooms still sticky and not wiped down. Couch still had crumbs on it. Yellow residue from a soak I used in my bathtub still there. My house is really never that dirty, but I recently had surgery and didn't have energy for it. And it is only about 3300 sq ft, so I was hoping for things to truly be cleaned well. Totally disappointed.

The only interaction I had was on the phone. I did not feel that they were willing to explore is there was an option for a later date. He was not rude but he could have been more thorough in exploring options for a future cleaning date. I am not sure if I would them again in the future. I feel like if they are going to run a sale than they should hire some temporary staff to help with the influx of business.

I spoke with Henry and he gave me options for appointment time, asked about in specifics and then set an approximate time that he would then follow-up with me by text. He arrived with his crew and they converged upon the property and with a couple hours had completed spit shinned all three floors, vacuumed, dusting, bathrooms, mirrors, window seals, appliances, hardwood floors and kitchen tile. It was a fantastic job as usually. They always ask for me to inspect before they leave to pick-up any additional request or to make sure that I am happy with the finished product.D

The advertisement was for 2500 sq. ft. - including 2 bathrooms and stove/refrigerator cleaning. When I made the purchase, I requested that the entire first floor be cleaned (Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Foyer, and 1/2 bath) - approx 1350 sq. ft. I also requested that the upstairs hallway bath, master bedroom, and master bath be cleaned. I did not ask them to clean the other 2 bedrooms and office [some personal documents] upstairs. They cleaned those rooms as well. In the end, they cleaned nearly 2500 sq. ft - including 2.5 baths (and did not charge extra). Having just newly moved in, neither the oven (double unit) nor the refrigerator (interior) needed much cleaning. Upon completion, they did not appear any different than before service. The stove was cleaned - however, it was not put back together properly. It's a bit of a balancing act to make sure each piece is in the right place. If not, the ignitor won't light the gas burner. So - we had to spend time [with gas/hot burners] putting it back together correctly before we could cook anything. In summary, the coupon made it worth trying them out. In the future, I would want a little more attention to detail (in terms of where to clean/and how to put things back together). I realize they thought they were being helpful cleaning the additional rooms gratis - and it was appreciated, but not entirely desired. Sincerely, --- Mark Nitsche

This was wonderful. The only thing I would have liked for them to do was to change the plastic bags in the little trash cans in my home. On a slightly negative side, they would move something such as the waste basket in my office and not put things back. They need to sharpen their skills in this area. Overall it was good job and I was pleased.

They did a very thorough job and I would recommend them.

It always starts with a text from Henry confirming the approximate time of arrival and re-capping any special instructions for th crew. The crew arrives with all their equipment and props and get to work with cleaning 3-levels from dusting to mopping, windows slidding doors, counter tops, hardwood floors, appliances and all bathrooms and detailed to perfection. When they crew leaves there is an intensive shine and showroom appearance.

I guess I expect too much when it comes to housecleaning services; through they did an OK job it was not up to what I expected when I was paying for a DEEP CLEANING. First, they and quot;couldn't clean my oven, because I have petsand quot; and the odor is and quot;very strongand quot; and could cause a reaction. So I opted out of the oven cleaning. They didn't have to change the sheets on each of the four bedrooms, but I did expect at least a freshen up of making the bed. They didn't appear to even touch my bed, they made up my son's beds, but not my daughter or my bed. I noticed a lack of detail in the cleaning, very rushed. I have to be honest I have a regular person who comes when I need her, she charges me $125 for my three level home, and spends between 2.5 to 3 hours cleaning my home as just a regular cleaning. I wanted a DEEP CLEANING and I ended up paying $39 more for someone to dust my shelves...not worth it. Sorry but to leave three women in my home who do not understand or speak any English is unacceptable to me. They were worker bees, but I miss my Blanka who seems to care about her level of service. The owner, did not even come in to my house after they were done, but freely entered my home 2 or 3 times without knocking or ringing the door bell..again not acceptable. I expect a certain level above since I got this from angie's list..will most like not use this service again.

The woman who cleaned the kitchen did a great job, though she didn't clean the outside of the cupboards, which I was hoping she would do since I was 9 months pregnant at the time and couldn't use any cleaning products that were strong enough to really get at the grease that builds up above the stove. They missed some of the finer details with vacuuming under things as well. The deal I purchased said they didn't clean wood floors, which I was okay with, but they DID clean the floors, with Mop and Glow (EEK!) It took me weeks to get the waxy buildup off my new wood floors. The woman who cleaned the bathroom did a great job on the first bathroom, but then when she found out there was another one, fizzled a bit. The three ladies were friendly enough, but one lady was a bit of a complainer. All said and done, they did a pretty good job and I was eternally grateful for not having to deep clean myself in the week before my family came to welcoming our little girl.

The first impression was good. They arrived very close to on time and the owner did a quick pass through of the home to review the work to be done in each room. I eliminated two of the four bedrooms because we are in the midst of redecorating. I hoped the time saved by reducing the number of rooms might help to accomplish a most pleasing result in the rooms that were cleaned. Not so. This staff was obviously not experienced in home cleaning. They did not have the proper tools - for example, they had no upholstery attachment for the vac. They used cleansers inappropriately - leaving a dull, sticky residue on all the (formerly bright) Baldwin brass in the bathroom. They dusted around display articles on the low china cabinet, but thoroughly wiped clean a dish in which I had collected flower seeds to plant next spring (my mistake not to hide them?). They did not clean under a single radiator - even after I pointed out that this had been missed in the family room. (Guess I needed to go room to room and check?) They had a tool to dust away cobwebs at the ceiling, but didn't dust the tops of the door and window moldings in any room. They don't do five panel doors Or kitchen cabinets. They vacuum around furnishings, leaving a and quot;puddleand quot; of dust where each leg meets the floor. They don't dust rails below chairs. Some pictures were dusted - I can tell which ones when I notice the smeared glass from the treated cloth used. I was pleasantly surprised that the maids had cleaned open window sills.... until I realized the mud of the thick dust and dead stink-bugs pressed into the corners and under the screen. (Yuk!) This list could go on and on...... I have seen a few exceptional maid services through years of good service and into retirement. This will not be one of them. I had hoped to find a new cleaning service, but it seems fairly obvious that Henri makes his money from selling a premium service for a premium price and completely scamming his one-time client. That's my impression. I'm disappointed, and the evidence suggests that it would not be helpful to call them back to and quot;finishand quot; the job. If I am incorrect, then this information will be helpful to correct the service provided to other customers.

Ever since I initially used Real Touch services at my home do to an Angie's List promotion, I found their professionalism, quality and pricing so wonderful I hired them for our property management / real estate company. We have very high standards for move-in / move-out cleanings before and after tenant occupancy. The punch list includes not only cleaning the top, sides, interior, exterior, underneath of all appliances, but also all light fixtures, electric outlets, light switches, bathrooms, etc. They communicate any concerns they may have, i.e. bathtub caulking that cannot be cleaned rather needs re-caulking, burnt-on oven residue removal that may damage finish of appliance. They're smart! They're reliable!

We were moving in the next day and I had set up an appointment between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm and they never showed up. Got a call at 4:15 pm that they were standing outside the house and nobody was in the house. I did not complain and went back and opened the house. There were 4 cleaners with one talking to the owner half of the time outside the house. Later we found that many of the places like the fireplace mantle tops were never cleaned and was covered with dust. Some of the baseboards were cleaned and some were not. Sloppy work. Carpet cleaning was done properly. Did not bother to call them back as I did not want to deal with them again. Will not recommend them to anyone nor will I call them again.

It turned out really well. They were nice, there's three of them and they got the whole house cleaned in two hours.

It started with a call from Henry confirming the approx time of arrival then a f/u text to adjust timing then upon arrival the ladies went forth like a well trained army and with little or no direction began a massive clean up with 11 lady below ann a t wam of 2 upstairs and they all came together on the main level for a profoundly polished look!

I thought they went way out of their way to get all the dirt. One of the cleaners, in particular, got on top of the china cabinet and on the closet floors. I was very impressed. I wish I could afford to have them more often.

They did a very nice job on the oven, stove, and inside of the refrigerator. They did not do a very good job with the floors, and windows weren't included. I thought that for the price and the fact that I was paying extra for a and quot;deep cleanand quot;, they would've done a better job on the floors and have included windows. (In a 1 BR apartment, I have only 2 windows.) Also, they didn't wipe down the walls in the kitchen, so there were still food and quot;splattersand quot; on those. I wouldn't necessarily expect this to be done for regular cleaning, but again...this was supposed to be a deep clean. But again, really nice work on the appliances, and that was really helpful, since I was putting my condo on the market.

I wouldn't use them again. They were a little sloppy for the cost. I had them come back to redo the work.

Several areas were not dusted-picture frames, furniture, etc. There appeared to be little effort to scrub anything--just a cursory swipe. Fingerprints and smudges on the doors were not touched. Ceiling fans not dusted. Furniture was not moved to vacuum behind them. They completed their work in 3 hours (telling me I had a small house) Anoather service that I had used earlier took a full 6 hours to clean the same areas.

The service was really good. The team of 3 took about 2 hours to complete the service. It has been quite a long time since my house was this clean. The team arrived on time and finished in the amount of time that I was told. The supervisor discussed the service with me before hand and upon completion as well. The service went so well that I enrolled in their every 2 week service.

The cleaning crew arrived on time, and looked over my and quot;Honey Doand quot; list, then started in. They were very professional, each member of the team tackling a specific task before moving on. In very short order (I would guess approximately 1.5 hours) my house was gleaming, and that includes the cabinets in the kitchen (they got cleaned and polished as well), and the exterior of all appliances (even the coffee pot). My bathrooms were sanitized . My house hasn't looked this good since my son came back from college! I will definitely be using Real Touch Cleaning Services again.

The team arrived on time and got straight to work. Everything needed a good scrub and got it. This was going to be a one time or perhaps periodic service but I was so pleased with the results have signed up for a bi- weekly service. the deep clean included a clean oven, refrigerator, and the expected services of clean bathrooms, floors, dusting and vacuuming. Very pleased.

It went very well, I was very pleased. They were punctual and did a good job.

The team worked HARD and quickly; their supervisior was on premises. I had to go to work before the job was done, and was surprised to hear from the supervisor how quickly they were done after I left. They cleaned alot, but there were things not cleaned well because they worked too fast. After I got home in the afternoon (it was an am apptl) and started looking more closely, our shower was done, but not scrubbed. On the kitchen tile, the corners under cabinets were not cleaned well. For the short term, last minute, it worked out. The manager was gracious and said call him if there was even the smallest problem, but we were having company the next day, so I didn't.

They were very fast to schedule appoint. They arrived on time. They did an excellent job, and the 3 girls worked fast but efficient.
