"We had a large project renovating our pool area that included replacing a wooden retaining wall system, timber steps, and walkway down to our pool. We met with several big name landscaping companies and were unimpressed. We happened by Mottern Masonry Design through a recommendation from a family member. Their passion and expertise came through from the first meeting. They built a beautiful two tier stone retaining wall, flagstone steps, and flagstone walkway for us. Jeff and his team communicated thoroughly throughout the project, were punctual, friendly and kept the impact to the rest of our yard to a minimum. "Miguel came to our house as one of 5 estimates I collected for this project--by far the person I was most comfortable with based on his knowledge of the process and ability to answer my questions about drainage, materials, timeline, etc. Steadfast's pricing was also very competitive compared to the other estimates I was given (in some cases, $2-5k less)--and their ability to schedule my project resulted in less of a wait than some others. Miguel came by the day before the project began with the project manager Joel, to mark the yard and make sure we had all details worked out--I adjusted several small details of the project and wanted to address where digging would take place to preserve tree roots. Each of my changes were made, and my concerns addressed. Joel and his team arrived promptly each day of work, and worked HARD. The project was complete in less time than predicted, and the the product is just beautiful! A flag stone patio and resurfaced stairs that we will enjoy for years to come. Omar at the office was responsive and communicated billing and scheduling clearly. Overall, we are extremely pleased and would use Steadfast again in the future!"

"DO NOT use this company. I went through Lowes to have a composite deck built. Working with them was an absolute nightmare. It took them 3 months to even START the job. I discovered the reason for the delay is because when they filed the permit (which took them 6 weeks to do), the contractor's license was expired. It then took them another 5 weeks to update their license in order to get the permit. They ordered and installed a completely differently railing style than what was on the contract/design, then blamed me for the mistake. Rather than ordering a new product, they cut the existing one to make it work. I am now 9 months post project, and the railing has warped, the deck is sloped, and the overall quality is horrible. Worst of all, turns out they NEVER GOT IT INSPECTED! I learned that Lowes had to fire them due to MULTIPLE issues with the company. I am thankful I have Lowes to help rectify the issues, but if i didn't, I would be pursuing legal action against them!"
