Great! Shelley had some ideas in landscaping based on our style of home, colors and sunlight. It turned out beautiful. We had overcrowded and neglected vegetation - now it's beautiful. Thanks Shelley!

Does a really fantastic job at garden maintenance. Our yard was completely overgrown, and it looked great when she finished. We plan to use her in the Spring and Fall every year

It went great, Shelley and her team were in and out before I even knew it - which I like because I telecommute and am always in conference calls. I'm excited to meet with her again to discuss landscaping design ideas. She was very responsive, sent a bill, contacted me to confirm by phone, and works very very hard. It looked terrific when she was finished (it's a little rough now because we haven't started landscaping yet).

During the design stage, she was patient and professional. There were some specific styles of plants that we wanted and didn't want and Shelley worked with us to create a design we were very happy with. Although a few plants withered in the summer heat and our poor soil, the outcome is excellent. I can't count the number of times neighbors walking by have commented on the new landscape. Only one valuable plant has perished and she quickly helped us find the pests that killed it and plan to make a replacement. Overall, a job well done and we'll be turing to the Garden Angel for any future landscaping efforts.

They were good. I did not have any complaints. They were prompt, and they specifically gave the things that we asked them to do.

Shelley was amazing. She worked so hard and didn't stop to take a break. She arrived at noon and the sun was very hot but she did not complain and worked in the full sun the entire time. She is a true professional and will be returning in the fall to plant some shrubs and winter flowers.

I am very happy with the work that was done. Shelley showed up when she promised, did the work as agreed at a reasonable price, and finished on time. The yard looks great! I look forward to working with her again for future needs.

Shelly and her assistant did an excellent job. They were prompt and came back three times in April (as I needed them) and each time they immediately got to work. Would absolutely use Shelly (The Gardening Angel) again and would recommend her as a must call when looking for landscaping-gardening type work. She is professional and personable leads her crew by personal example. Works fast while doing a top-quality job. Price was reasonable and job was completed more quickly than would have estimated. All this was done - IN THE RAIN - Shelly did not let a little weather stop or slow her down. She is a top-notch person, works very hard as does her crew. We will absolutely use her again and would call her first before other landscape providers for this type of service.

Arrived on time with her assisstant and begain weeding and mulching along the driveway, flower beds and rose garden that was full of weeds. The price was reasonable and she did and outstanding job of weeding and mulching, and even resurected a boxwood plant that we thought was dead. Would definitely use her service again in the future!

The Gardening Angel did an incredible job. The former owners of our house (we have been in for 8 months) spent a lot of time gardening. I stayed on top of it when we moved in- however the winter caused everything to wilt and die. I was unsure what could be cut back and what would rebloom vs. being dead. The Gardening Angel knew each and every plant type in our yard. Lucky for us- most of the items just needed to be cut back. In a few short days everything looked cleaned up. Since then the yard has bloomed with vibrant colors and looks incredible. I appreciate the time she spent explaining the plants, giving us suggestions to complement them, and providing suggestions for future plantings. Overall- the value of the service was immense. I highly recommend their services.

My project is a large one. I bought my home last Summer and there are several large flower beds that the previous owners had severely neglected. On 4/6/13, the company arrived to survey the job and to provide me with a quote. While they did agree to meet with me on Saturday which is not their normal hours, they were very hurried and did not allow time to fully capture the details of the job. They scheduled a start date, 4/15/13, that was based on them emailing me a quote beforehand. I did not receive a quote. They performed their services on 4/15/13, totalling 7 hours of labor, while I was away at work and gave me their price that evening.

This gal and her assistant definitely go the extra mile to get the job done promptly, professionally and beautifully. She searched for good quality pine straw when we ran out of the stuff we had bought. We've already had them back a second time and will have them finish all the beds next week. Very pleased !!

Do to illness, my property had been neglected for several months. Gardening Angel came and not only brought it back to life, but exceeded my expectations. The care and attention given to each bush,plant and small tree was exceptional. The cost was a little pricey but the quality of the work made it worthwhile. Even though my health is better I will probably have them come back in the spring.

I emailed Shelley, she responded quickly! Made an appt to meet with her for an estimate, she arrived on time, looked around gave an estimate and based off reviews scheduled her for a week from meeting (apparently she books fast). Due to other home matanence needs I was unable to keep appt due to cost. I would/will call on Shelly in the future. Very nice and seemingly knowledgable.

She thorough, unbelievably fast, and responsive. While her rates may seem expensive, I find her services to be a great value when I consider that it would take me at least twice as long to do the work she does.

Shelley Fones is a Gardening ANGEL, she works like a whirling dervish, no matter how hot it is. never leaves a mess behind, and is always willing to discuss options. Several neighbors use her business and we are all very pleased

Excellent work, however, the original estimate of the cost of the lawn work was $500.00 and escalated $600.00 then finally to $700.00. The final price ended up being 40% higher then original estimate work price. Suggest you you lock into a final agreed upon price at the begining of the job. Again, a wonderful lady to deal with and the work is excellent. Highly recommend her!

Contacted Gardening Angel (found thru Angies List) for help in revitalizing our old, monochrome landscape - group of 6 LARGE beds with overgrown trees and bushes. She came to our house, walked the property with us and quickly assessed our needs. Over the next few months, she worked on our beds providing exceptional results. She charges by the hour, but we were amazed how much she accomplished in the time she spent. Also provided plantings to large planters and quickly replaced one that did not take free of charge. Very responsive to any questions and even made extra trip to ensure house looked good for our son's graduation weekend. Could not be happier with her - we now have a variety of color and texture with plant types that thrive in our soil. We were looking for some help and got much more - an expert, personal ally in helping transform our landscape. AWESOME!!

Shelley is in high demand during the spring season, and I can see why! Her prices are fair and she is fast! The fact that she is so fast makes her prices amazing. The price we paid looks like a lot, but most of that was for the actual plants, soil, and mulch. She helped us transform our front yard. This house had been neglected for over a decade, Our neighbors have been stopping by to tell us that it has never looked better. One type of plant was not thriving, so I gave Shelley a call and she came out and looked at them. She said she would replace them free of charge. She sure did, and she did it fast! This was a very large job. We would definitley recommend her and would use her again.

Shelley is efficient, talented and loves what she does. She promotes her own business and does the work herself, so having her help with our yard was both personal and efficient - no 'management' to deal with. We asked her to 'fix up' our rental home, which has several shrub and flower beds. She was very professional and timely with providing an estimate and getting the job done. Her experience in trimming was evident, as she turned our overgrown beds into a well balanced eye-pleaser. Her recommendation to add some color (pansies) was a good one - it brought the house to life with a very small investment. She was also willing to do some more labor intensive things to get our landscape on track, although I believe her specialty is in the design and installation area. We have already asked her to come back summer of 2012 to replace the pansies and prune a few of the aggressive growers. I highly recommend Shelley for your home!
