Description of Work: Contacted Gardening Angel to start getting the yard ready for spring and summer. She has transformed the yard from the drab winter look to a real beauty in the past. Looking forward to working with her, seeing what suggestions are in store for the front of the house. Prices are always very reasonable and she works hard at trying to fit the landscape to the owner as far as maintenance.

Description of Work: The Gardening Angel does wonderful work. I would recommend her to anyone! Our gardens and shrubs were horribly overgrown when we purchased our home. She is all business when she's working- she works quickly making great use of her time. All the weeds and trimmings were bagged and left neatly by the curb. We were trying to downsize the growth in the yard as we don't really have the time to maintain. She's listened to what we wanted to have done and offered her helpful suggestions along the way. In addition to being a hard, fast worker, she is a very nice lady as well. I'll definitely be calling her again!

 + -1 moreShelley did a wonderful job! I was trying to get my house ready to sell or rent and was out of the area, so I couldn't meet with her in person to show her around or what I wanted. She drove out to the house and gave me an estimate over the phone. She started with just the front yard. The next time I was down to see the house, my husband and I were amazed at how great it looked. There were bushes that had been big blobs and now were in the shape of little trees. I immediately called her back and told her how happy we were and couldn't wait for her to start on the back yard. I have since recommend her to my friends and they are as amazed at how fast she works and what a great job she does. I would highly recommend her. The price above is for 3 visits. She charges $37.50 per hour. I was hesitant at paying by the hour at first, but she works very fast.
Description of Work: Pruning, weeding, trimming bushes and generally sprucing up planted areas.

 + 0 morewow - she is amazing --- she got to work within 4minutes of our first meeting -- we walked around the yard and tlalked -- then she set to work with her chainsaw - removing obnixious privets --- we / she worked hard and fast the entie time / we made plans ans scheduled for future work on our newly planned project // new landscaping for entire front of house . i have 2/3 acre yard and she gave good advice on how to improve it n a budget and in logical sequences. she listens to what i think i want and gives great suggestions. I especially like how she gets to the root of the problem/forgive the pun/ as in --- the last yard contractor i hired only covered up weeds or cut them --- and Shelly gets them out by the root. I am very very pleased and look forward to continuing our plan.
Description of Work: she came ready to work! after a brief tour of the yard wtih my many problem areas we made plans and set to work immediately. removing the privets from the front of the house with a chainsaw and arranged to have the stumps removed by next week. we made plans on completely redoing the front view of the house. She also trimmed things with loppers as we looked over other parts of the yard.

APPLICATION OF CHEMICALS SUCH AS PESTICIDES AND OR WEED KILLERS. I am an organic gardener by choice. I use Preen, which is a weed preventer, but do not use weed killers. I do not think they are good for the flower bed or the environment.
