Completely ruined the hardwood floors we wanted to keep by cutting huge holes into the for without permission, then did not properly level and secure them before they put carpet over then. And you can already see every seam in the carpet! They did not properly caulk and seal the tub and shower causing water damage in the wall. The two closets they built in the bedrooms we not properly sized, and you cannot even properly hang clothes because there is not enough room for a regular hanger. They had to redo some of the plaster on the walls from the reno and it was not done properly.

We were very happy with the work. The things that stood out the most were their quality of work and the way they worked with our budget.

They were recommended by a friend of mine who was also a realtor. They did some amazingly good things and they also did some not so good things. The carpentry and overall work was wonderful. When you had the city inspector come out and inspect your building for code. They definitely listed to me and they were responsive. What they didn't do is communicate internally which was frustrating. They are expensive for what they do. I could have done the building less expensively but what they did, they did well. Some of the items that they installed turned out to me not a very good quality. The hardware on the garage door was chrome originally and it was tiding. It tided within a couple of years and similarly for the door handles which I was not very happy about. They were very responsive but they failed to communicate it all the way through.

Did not select for the job; seemed very professional and would contact again.

Of the five vendors I asked for quotes, Sun Building came out on top for the quality of the quote, responsiveness, customer contact, and being agile enough to start within a week of accepting the work. There wasn't much delay caused by the weather, so the work was completed in about three weeks from start to finish. The responsiveness, job oversight, customer communication, and cleanup were excellent.

They did an excellent job and I was very happy with the final result of the bathroom. They had told me the job would take seven to ten days and it ended up taking nearly two months. Other than that they do excellent work and I would recommend them in the future.

I was very pleased with Sun Builders. They did an excellent job on all of the windows. They were straight. They opened and closed easily for me. They were honest workers who got their job done real fast, and they cleaned up when they were done.

Mr. Lightner was sure a pleasure to work with. He has been working on our addition for the past five months. He and his crew have settled in as part of our family. They have always been very respectful of our property and the needs of our family. They did a really nice job on all the work that they did for us.

I was happy with Sun Builders because they got the outside of my home looking great. The crew was very friendly and they didn t leave any mess behind. I was amazed at how quick they finished the job and they did it without any mistakes. I was not sure of the price and I couldn t remember where I put the receipts.

I really have no qualms with their finished work. The crew was easy to get along with. They came out with a good attitude. I was amazed with all the work that they did on my house. They did our roof first. They paid a lot of attention to detail. I felt that their work was very good.

We had just moved up here from Florida, after retiring and immediately started looking for a construction company to do the addition. The people we knew up here, suggested Sun and we went with their recommendation. We are glad we did, the crew was very skilled and worked long hours, for a total of three months. There was a sizable amount of damage done to the back yard by heavy equipment, but all of that was re-landscaped. They almost doubled the size of our house and they did a brilliant job for us. We are extremely happy we hired them.

We heard a lot of good things about Sun through friends and they showed us why that is. There was a crew of five to do the work, and they were all well behaved, and hard working. After the old windows were removed, they had some wood working to do, before installing the new windows. The job was done in half a day, and there was no mess left behind. We should have had these windows put in years ago.

I was very satisfied with their work and they completed the job in the estimated time given. They did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were finished. I plan to use them again with our home addition plans. I would recommend them to any of our neighbors.

The windows were installed according to precise specifications. They are energy-efficient, tilt in and have locks built into them. It took less than a day to install them and we are very happy with the end result.
