Description of Work: Got me to agree to a large amount of work under my home. Took a $7000.00 deposit. Twisted my arm to start on Thanksgiving day. I later found out this was to "pin down" the job so that they could say it was in progress if I took them to court for not completing the work. I did. I won a judgment but have yet to recover the bulk of my money. The owner moved to avoid my collection efforts. The owner is a thief in my opinion.

+ -1 moreMy husband and I called A-Atlantic for a routine pest control service and were told we needed a moisture barrier under the house. After much consideration and persuasion, we agreed. The man who came to our house said that since we had such a difficult time with someone coming out to begin with (this should have been our first clue!!! we had a scheduled service at 10a, which was rescheduled 4 times throughout the day and someone finally showed up around 8pm) that they would give us a discount of $600. We said okay and wrote them a check for the service, which we were told would be performed that following Thursday. No one showed up on Thursday. I called the owner, Alex, multiple times and he would answer, apologize, and promise me that someone would be there. Over a year later, the issue is not resolved. We took them to court (no one showed up, of course) and the judge ruled in our favor, but we have still not received payment.Please do not, under any circumstances trust this company. They are very dishonest people.

+ -1 moreGood two years ago.....BAD today! I don't plan to work with him again and plan to take my business else where.
Description of Work: I have a contract with this company for pest control and termites. Two years ago I had swarmers in my house, they came out and did all the work including drilling into my foundation. But I recently found termites in a flower pot in my yard, I called concerned their could be termite nest nearby. Made an appointment for the next day and he didn't show. I called, he said he would be out a little later. Again a no show....and no phone call from him. So I called again Monday, he said he would be out again.......again a now show. I called again that night. No appology, but again he said he would be out a little later.....again a now show. We spoke the next day. He said he'd be by between 4-4:30. He didn't show and didn't call. After I called, he said he'd be out in an hour....again a no show. He finally called 2 hours later....appologized and swore he'd be out in an hour. Again.....A NO SHOW. If he can't come out to treat my house when I'm under contract...what is the prior service worth?

+ -1 moreI really like using them. I think that one of the reasons that I started using them is because they have very cost effective rates. I also use them for a couple rental properties I own. If need be, they are willing to come out on the spot and spray for termites at no extra charge. I pay about 100 dollars per year.
Description of Work: A-Atlantic sprays the inside and outside of my 1,800 square foot home for termites once a year.

+ -1 moreWe have A Atlantic come once a year, and we've used them for eleven years. They didn't find any termites the last time. They let us know in advance when they're going to come out by calling us to set an appointment.

+ -1 moreI wanted to refinance my home and the company agreed to it, as long as this was done. They suggested A-Atlantic for a good price and a respectable job. This is exactly what I received. They were professional, prompt and very organized. The work took less than a week, and was done extremely well. The price was very low for the time and effort they spent on this job.
Description of Work: A-Atlantic Pets Control replaced the flooring, walls and some plumbing pipes in the bathroom. They also replaced all the sand underneath the house to shore up the foundation.

+ -1 moreAlex did a thorough inspection and had a lot of integrity. He made sure to hire great people for his crews. We have used them since 1993 and have never had a complaint. They showed up when they said they would and explained the out come of his inspection. He also did restoration.
Description of Work: They did a termite inspection for us throughout the house and yard.

+ -1 moreA-Atlantic Pest Control did exactly what they said they were going to do; they got rid of my beetle problem. It would have cost me a lot of money if they wouldn't have died. They usually come out and spray once a year. They have always done a good job of spraying.
Description of Work: They sprayed around the outside of my home for wood bearing beetles.
