Description of Work: I was pleased with the completed job. My two "beefs" are none of the roofers spoke English - I informed that at least one should speak language of customer! I felt the job was overpriced - as I watched them work, two of the workers were rarely engaged.

Description of Work: Eric Funkhouser is the owner of the company. Eric arrived at my home promptly when our visit was scheduled. He brought samples and pictures of the various roofing shingles available and explained the pros and cons of all available types. After I selected one I liked, he gave me the address of a house where he had installed the same shingle so I could go see if that was, in fact, what I wanted. Once I ageed on a contract, he told me his crew would arrive with a large trash bin and leave it in my driveway. That was for use in collecting all the old shingles that were removed from my roof and any other trash they generated. His crew, the trash bin, and the new shingles arrived just as Eric had promised. Eric and his crew began work immediately, and within 1 l/2 - 2 days, I had a beautiful new roof! Once the roof work was finished, Eric personally went above and beyond to get my DIRECTV Satellite Dish back in operation! He actually gave me cash out of his pocket for the DIRECTV repairman to help!!

+ -1 moreThe work couldn't have gone smoother. I signed Eric's contract and paid him one-third of the total cost on April 9th. Within a few days, a dumpster was delivered to collect all the old shingles, etc. (He'd told me about this in advance.) Soon the shingles were delivered. Eric and his men worked diligently removing all the old shingles and then installing the new ones. The work was completed on April 19th. They did a terrific job! I then paid Eric the balance owed ($3,520.00). The only glitch we had was when Eric replaced my DIRECTV satellite dish on my roof, my TV didn't work. (He'd had to remove it to replace my old roof shingles with new ones.) He worked diligently, to no avail, to get it going. Eric finally called the DIRECTV service rep to come repair the dish, and Eric personally took money out of his own pocket to pay for this!! Eric is honest, dependable and does a superb job!! If your home needs a new roof, Eric's the man to call!!!!
Description of Work: Eric provided a free estimate and showed me samples of the roof shingles available, so I could select the one I liked best. I accepted his estimate, which seemed quite fair, and selected the shingles I preferred. I signed the contract and paid him one-third of the total ($1,760.00). He then ordered the shingles.
