+ -1 moreWe had a virus on our computer. We called up BJ's and they able to tell us over the phone the steps we needed to follow to remove the virus. They were very responsive and courteous, and our computer was quickly functioning again.

+ -1 moreThe entire process took less than 40 min. BJ, the owner, was friendly and capable. he let me watch and willingly explained what he was doing. His minimum charge is $40 and that is all i paid. [if an infestation is really, really bad his max chg is $150.00.] all told, a very positive experience
Description of Work: my workstation became infected by schmitfraud-c, inspite of having current and often run copies of 'spybot', 'norton' and 'ad-aware'. i brought the tower in, he hooked it up, de-loused my computer, and helped me replace my norton and spybot with more thorough protection.

+ -1 moreI was very pleased I didn't have to take the computer anywhere else. I was able to ask a few questions and got straight, direct answers! I told him I was going to purchase a software program and could he help with that. He told me where to go to download a very similar and compatible program for free, although the site does ask for a donation. He saved me about $300! I'd say I got a fantastic deal.
Description of Work: I had an old computer. I wanted to wipe the hard drive clean so I could donate it somewhere. I didn't have to go any further. He wiped the hard drive clean and then asked me my intentions for the hardware. I told him I was going to donate it. He said he would take care of it for me. I was just going to set it on the street in my neighborhood with a "free" sign. I told him he could have it and if he could make a dime on it, that was okay with me. I believe in supporting small local businesses.
