If we wanted something changed he didn't hesitate to make us happy. He also had a port-a-John put on property as we didn't want workers upstairs. He and his two younger tradesmen showed up everyday at 730 despite driving 50-60 miles away. He's currently doing work on my house in the Grandin Court area to include heated floors, bathroom renovations, carpentry, and roofing. He's been in business for 30 years and has all the equipment and trucks for most any job.
Description of Work: He finished half of my wife's basement on Persinger Rd SW in Raleigh Court Neighborhood of Roanoke City. . He pulled the permit and managed the plumbers and electricians. He cut out the concrete floor and reporured after plumbing passed. He and his guys did the framing, Sheetrock, finish, and trim. He doesn't paint so we did that ourselves. Job include a whole new electrical box / upgrade. He also installed heated flooring kit I bought off eBay. Then laid the tiles I bought from Morris Tile. Wife is super happy with quality of work and I'm happy with the cost. Included all the fixtures and appliances. I provided double vanity and sink top and mirror but he installed. Also reworked the gas line in the house to include running gas to living room fireplace. We bought gas logs from Lowe's. He also drilled hole for dryer as we moved laundry room in to back corner. Included laundry sink. All in all it was about 15-17 grand. This will definitely improve the resale above and beyond the cost of a job well done

David Conroy is a man of his word. The project was completed in a professional manner and according to schedule and budget. We hope to have Stone Age back soon for another hardscape project.
Description of Work: David Conroy competitively bid a hardscape project for our home in Blacksburg, Virginia. The work included excavation, concrete foundation formwork and installation, brick walkways, concrete curbing, asphalt paving demolition, installation of concrete pavers, and hauling of topsoil and landscape gravel. David was easy to work with and coordinated his work with those of other trades (heavy timber, electrical, plumbing). His layout was very accurate and the pavers drain according to plan.
