Mr. Vaughan was on time when he came to give the estimate and just a few minutes late on the day of the job, for which he sincerely apologized. He replaced a large piece of drywall in the ceiling where I had fallen through the attic floor, and he made replacements and repairs throughout the house where there were cracks from settling and where surfaces were discolored and uneven due to water damage. He also removed the caulk and treated an area over the bathtub that had mold or mildew before he repaired the drywall. I had marked the areas in the house that needed repair, but he found several additional spots that needed attention, and he did those without adding to the original estimated price. He cleaned up in each room as he completed each job, and worked nonstop until all of the repairs were finished . He then left for an hour or so while the mud dried, and then came back to sand and level the areas until they were completely smooth and flat. I had to leave before he returned, but a friend of mine was there to meet him when he arrived to finish the job. She commented on how friendly he was. Later, after we repainted the rooms, we could not tell where the repairs had been made. Mr. Vaughan is friendly, polite, and a true professional. I highly recommend him.

My call was promptly returned and JL came out to give me an estimate the same day. The very next morning he was here promptly at 9:00 to begin work. He was polite, professional, and knowledgable...and the repair looks fabulous. I would definitely use this company again and confidently refer them to my family and friends.

I removed a wall between between my kitchen and my family room myself... I totally screwed up the drywall... This was one week before a house party and the wife was not happy. I called Lark; he came over same day and provided a quote. He promptly came by next day and fixed my problems. Totally professional and reasonably priced I will use him again.

This is the second time I have used JL and Lark D. Drywall and once again I was not disappointed. JL returned my call very quickly and came out when promised to give me a quote. He comes when he says he is going to and finishes on time as promised. He is very professional and does a good job everytime. I would not hesitate to recommend JL for any drywall job and I will be using him again as I finish the last phase of my plumbing work.

Mr. Vaughan was a pleasure to work with. He was honest, fair and punctual. He started when he said he would and completed the work on time. We got two other estimates and we chose another company besides Lark D Drywall. The guy from Lark D Drywall was very personable. We didn’t have any complaints with him. The other person suggested some other kind of fix for our problem and we kind of liked his idea better. We didn’t have any complications with Lark D Drywall at all. Joseph Vaughan is the owner. His quote was around $2200. He was very friendly and very nice. He was punctual and that’s probably a really good thing. His responsiveness was good. We didn’t have any problems with him. We would probably not use him again because we liked the work done by the other gentleman that we found on Angie’s List.

JL told me that he could have materials delivered and start by Tuesday. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home on Monday and he had all the insulation done. When I got home on wednesday the drywall was all hung and they finished taping and mudding early Saturday. There was a small spot that was above the garage door that didn't initially get done but when the crew first came out to drywall they had the garage door open where they couldn't see that area but JL had it done in no time at all the day we did the final walk through. He did such an outstanding job that I am hiring him to pressure wash my house. I will give a follow up when that is complete. JL is a great example of what individual contractors should be - he calls back immediately, he shows up when he says he will, he will leave a message if you are unable to answer the phone and he would leave a progress report on the days I arrived home after he was finished for the day. If you need drywall work, do not hesitate, call JL.

I called JL and left him a voice mail about what had happened to our ceiling. He called me back the same day and set a date and time to come out to give us an estimate on the job. He called the day before the appointment just to confirm we were expecting him. He arrived when he said he would and was very professional and friendly. His estimate was very reasonable. He did a great job on the ceiling and it looks like new. He even called after the job to make sure we were satisfied. I will definitely use this company again!

JL was very easy to work with, arrived promptly, returned phone calls quickly, cleaned up well before leaving each day and was very accommodating with our family's schedule. He completed the big problem areas in our house with excellent results, but was just as good with the "mini" dry wall repairs we had in multiple rooms. It is hard to find contractors willing to do the small jobs--believe me, I had tried before calling Lark D. Drywall! JL did an excellent job at a very fair price. Joseph gave us a good price and performed the work punctually and well. He is very easy to work with and I felt totally comfortable that I didn't need to watch everything he did, which is the case with some contractors if you want it to be done right. He cleaned up well after himself and he was careful of plants when he was doing the pressure washing. I highly recommend him.

JL was prompt in coming out to give me a bid and very responsive to all phone calls. He came when he said he would, cleaned up every day before leaving and was very polite and professional. His price was reasonable and he did excellent work. I will be using him again in the near future for a few other projects around the house.
