Energy Management Services, Inc.

When Energy Management Services installed the duct work, there was loose metal that dislodged and shorted the entire system. Their finish work was poor, and I had to go after them to fix some of their work. My complaints: 1. They cut several of their return/register holes too big and tried to fill them in with copious amounts of caulk. That looked awful, and I had to fix them. 2. They cut up one of my closet doors pretty badly with a reciprocating saw, and I had to repair the damage. 3. Somebody left a loose piece of ducting tape in the return; it shorted the electric circuitry and gave me a $650 heating bill in the middle of the summer (about $575 more than I typically pay). Things they did well: 1. They sent someone to fix the short free of charge. 2. The owner is awesome to work with, intelligent, frank, and courteous. 3.His workmen were nice guys.

Long story short, got a cooling system that does not perform as manufacturer specs indicate. Very shoddy product.

Overall I would give them a B. I would probably use them in the future.
