Terrible. Not a single part of her contract was honored. We went through groupon for a refund of the original purchase but the additional purchase had to go through small claims court.
Description of Work: I contacted the owner, Ashleigh Ward, to arrange for 2 hours of home organizing. I was given a date over a month in the future. On that date, no one showed up. I called but could not leave a message because the voicemail was full. I sent several emails and didn't get a response for weeks. At that time they offered me two times that did not work. I asked for other times and was treated like an inconvenience. During this time, I received emails every week asking me to purchase additional services, for a year of service at a "great discount". My mother purchased it as a baby shower gift. Every scheduled time, there was an excuse. She had so many relatives die, she must not have anyone left. I kept every email - grandmother sick2c son sick 2c car accident, grandmother died, and her final excuse was that she had been diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, she wasn't aware that I know her neighbor, and knew she was not only perfectly healthy, but bragging about all the money she had made without doing any work! We have filed against her in court. She has renamed her company several times to avoid detection. Please don't ever do business with this woman.

Bought 2 groupons. One for four hours organization and one for one cleaning session. After rescheduling several times and them arriving quite late, they did accomplish their goals. Not perfectly, but adequately. I bought a package with them directly that was to consist of 5 hours of almost any service they offer for $100/month. I received ~2 cleanings and nothing since. When they stopped showing up, I stopped paying. I'm still owed at least 17 hours and while I received an email stating the owner desires to make things right, I'm doubtful.
Description of Work: They organized a large pile of papers over 4 hours and cleaned my home 4 times. The cleaning was ok, not great. The organization was good. They made labels for my files and filed a large amount of paperwork.

I ordered a Groupon for 6 house cleanings from Vivacity. It took a month to finally get ahold of someone to attempt to schedule the . first cleaning. They did not have availability for another month. When we waited a few days to find a day that would work a month out we called back to schedule. The individuals that we spoke to said they no longer worked for Vivacity because of their "unethical business practices." We still tried to schedule another cleaning and they ignored our calls and emails for another month and a half. We ended up getting a refund from Groupon.
Description of Work: House cleaning services that were never actually performed due to the atrocious customer service.

I purchased a Groupon last spring (it is now October) for three cleaning sessions, a two-person team for two hours each. To schedule the first session, I made dozens of phone calls--mostly to a voice mailbox that was full, but a couple reached the voicemail itself, so I did leave a couple messages--that remained unanswered. I sent dozens of emails as well. I used two different phone numbers and two different emails. When too many Groupon customers complained and Groupon took action themselves, Vivacity finally sent me an email to schedule the first of three purchased cleanings--just randomly chose a date and time. They did show up (I do not know whether they were timely, as I was not home at the time). I cannot say much either way about the cleaning itself; someone had obviously been there and cleaned, and although the house was not truly clean, it takes longer than four hours to thoroughly clean the house. So on that score, I lack information--I have no idea how the house would have looked if they'd been hired for a full cleaning rather than a set amount of time. I'm still struggling to schedule the second and third appointments, and it has been almost six months. The online scheduling system doesn't work for Groupon customers as far as I can see--at least, when I try to access it, it just tells me that nobody is available. I might just accept my losses and move on. For the record, I'm not quite clear where Vivacity headquarters is located, so the information I gave on that score might be misleading. I gather the Groupon was part of a plan to expand and they now cover DC and suburbs, both Virginia and Maryland, all the way to the Baltimore area.
Description of Work: Basic housecleaning: dusting, floor sweeping/vacuuming and mopping, kitchen and bathroom cleaning

We contracted Vivacity through Groupon and were immediately unable to schedule service. They were unresponsive by phone or e-mail. We eventually did schedule our housecleaning on their Website, but received a message two weeks later that our appointment had moved. One day before the cleaning we were contacted by phone, requesting that the appointment time be moved. We asked that it stay as scheduled and worked out a compromise time. The service sent one cleaner (not two as advertised) but an adequate job was performed. After this first visit, Vivacity scheduled all subsequent visits. We contacted the company and were told that they were overscheduled over the next four months. We could only reliably redeem our Groupon purchase through other non-cleaning services (such as Hoem Organization or Shopping). After this experience and after seeing a history or similar relations with the company on Better Business Bureau and Yelp, we requested and received a full refund from Groupon.
Description of Work: Vivacity LLC performed two hours of housecleaning. They were contracted to provide ten more hours but cancelled all future appointments and stated that they were unable to fulfill the work within the calendar year (the next four months).
