The work was well done, on time, priced fairly. Kurt is a real professional. My brother has used him on many small remodels in his condos since 2012. In fact, he worked on my remodel and my brother’s remodel during the same week, using his time wisely. Innovative! I like his work so much that am trying to get him to renovate the kitchen in another condo this month … he is coming over to see it, and will try to fit it in even though he is very busy. He has a loyalty to his customers.

Kurt is very good and very popular in this neighborhood. The problem was he was so busy he didn't follow up with other projects I had talked to him about. We had gone over these. He had sent an estimate which I approved. It took several months for him to get back with me as far as scheduling. He finally got the above projects done but I didn't hear back about the others. He does excellent work otherwise.

My wife and I searched for a contractor or a design/build firm for several months during the Summer of 2015. All the bids were more than we wanted to spend, and we were beginning to think that we would just have to live with what we had. Then a friend suggested we check on AL...the membership was the best few dollars I have ever spent! When we met, we liked him immediately. He sent us a a proposal within a week. We met and clarified some issues; his final price was about 60% of the others we received! We waited for him to finish up another job before he started our project, but we were not to move into the house for 3-4 months. He was not finished by move-in (no fault of his), but he continued working with us with all our stuff piled in the living room. Rather than calling in subs, he did the electric, plumbing, tile, and carpentry. He introduced us to a/c and painting contractors, who also saved us money and were pleasant to work with. He added LED can lights in our Living Room, and he was so careful that the ceiling did not even need to be repainted. He had a key to the place, and we had no reservations about him working when we were not there. I never had any concerns about my wife being there with him while he was working. Our HOA President said our bathroom remodel was the best of any he has seen in our development. 'nuff said! Kurt is TOTALLY trustworthy. What he says, he will do. We loved working with him. I highly recommend that you consider using Kurt.

Everything when as planned. Kurt was there for the project and the work was done to my satisfaction. He was neat and kept area clean; he went above and beyond for the project.

His web site says: if he can't do the work he will find someone that will. He came to the house to make an estimate, left and we never heard from him again. No estimate and no recommendation of other handymen.

We had a leak in our water line and water was coming thru the ceiling in our downstairs bathroom. We called Kurt and he was at our home within an hour and fixed the problem. We wouldn't use anyone else, whether it is a complete remodel, which he has done for us, Kurt does it all...well. He is proficient in many areas from carpentry to electrical and plumbing...etc...We really like his work and his professionalism.

Kurt did a fantastic job, we could not be happier with our renovation. This was our first ever renovation and with Kurt's help it went smoothly. He oversaw and personally completed the renovation that ended up being top notch with high end finishes. He reworked the plumbing and electrical, laid marble tiling, helped put in a beautiful frameless glass shower, vanity, new fan, sconces and mirrors.

My wife and I can't say enough good things about Kurt. He is the nicest guy you could have working on your house, not to mention skilled, professional and trustworthy. For our first home improvement project, he was the only one during our estimate "interviews" who came with a note pad and measuring tape. His estimate was itemized, thorough and cost effective. Finished product is great. For the second project, he came over a few times to look at the space and work up some design options. He also spoke with our realtor to determine the best approach for a renovation to put our house on the market. We are completely happy with our new entrance. Once we move to a new house I'm sure we'll be calling him again.

Kurt was clearly a professional and completed the installation expertly, on a timely basis. He also took care to minimize any mess and completely cleaned up the work site before he left. I would strongly recommend anyone needing handyman services to give Kurt a call.

I found Kurt on Angie's List and contacted him through Angie's List. We arranged for a date and time for an free estimate. Kurt arrived on time and provided me a in writing estimate. The price was reasonable for the job. I contacted him back through Angie's List and he arrived on time to complete the job. My back poarch screen looks amazing!!!

He seemed well spoken and he knew what he was doing. He was a little more expensive than I could afford. The cost was not inappropriate for the job, and he was into getting the job properly done, and I appreciated that, but I got someone else to get it done for a little less. The other person was able to use my son for part of the job, and that brought the cost down. He was very great with communication, and gave a very detailed estimate, and I have kept him in my records for when I need more work done.

Working with Kurt was like hitting the contractor lottery. He is professional, reliable, his work is first class and he does just about everything himself. He was working in our home for about a month and a half, and it was a real pleasure working with him. We would not hesitate to recommend him or to use him again ourselves. Top quality work from a truly nice guy with a great work ethic.

Fireplace project - was completed promptly, on budget and looked great. Bathroom - had a short delay starting the project as he was finishing up work on another project. Timeline given at start was accurate (3 weeks). Kurt mocked up a shower bench in two locations and then helped us come up with an alternate solution (foot niche for shaving) when we didn't like the bench placements. He was flexible and worked with us to set meeting times early morning or evenings, so we didn't have to miss work. He asked questions in advance (location of outlets, thermostats, lights, tile pattern) so that he could proceed smoothly. He cleaned up each day so that we were able to continue using the bedroom while work was in progress. We had ordered Italian tile online for the shower and it had the curvature that can happen with large format tiles. When he installed the initial 3 rows in the brick pattern we had requested, there was visible lippage. He took it all down and re-hung it in alternate pattern and was able to achieve a smooth look even though the tiles were warped. We had a light leakage under one of the sinks and he came back immediately and resolved that. Other than that, the project went flawlessly. It was without any drama. He did everything we requested - including using vintage door pulls. We are very happy with the new bathroom.

Very timely and prompt for initial evaluation. Kurt has lots of projects so sometimes had to follow up for estimates and to schedule the work but as my jobs were smaller I expected it to take some time to fit them in, but you might need to be patient depending on his schedule and your timing. He is a pleasure to work with, and his work was great, he asked for input as needed and cleaned up the site upon finishing. I would recommend him and use him again in the future. He stuck to his estimate price, and though perhaps not the cheapest, I thought he did great work. He did give me a bit of a discount on the first job as it took less time than expected, which I appreciated.

I called Kurt about running duct for an exhaust fan. He set up an a time to come by and look at the job and give me an estimate. He never showed up or called.

Kurt did an awesome job on the base of the island! He completed the install on schedule right before the Thanksgiving holiday in 2012. Since I needed additional time to match granite for the top of the island to my existing granite countertops and because I was hosting Thanksgiving dinner, Kurt was able to build a temporary counter top. I covered it with a table cloth and, needless to say, the family enjoyed the additional counter space while and quot;hanging outand quot; in the kitchen.

Overall, our experience with Kurt was a positive one. Prior to putting our home on the market in 2010, he was referred to us by our Realtor to do some minor repairs. We had no clue about his track record, but hired him on the good word of our Realtor. From his initial visit with us until the work was completed, he always exhibited an excellent demeanor and arrived on time. I'm not sure if he has a particular handyman specialty, but was thrilled with the fact that he could perform a variety of services.
