HIGH STANDARD FLOORING

Terrible. This company was recommended by another big company in my town. He showed up and was polite, gave us a business card and looked around. He gave us a verbal estimate, we agreed that was ok. Then we kept asking for a written estimate, which never appeared. That was our fault. We allowed work to begin without it in writing. He told us his partner did part of the work and went by another name. They started working at separate times. Then they required a deposit, we paid it and got a receipt. After they got that they disappeared for awhile. They would not return calls and I ended up having to call the original company who recommended them to track them down to come work. Without getting into the details of their personal problems, they came with a lot of scary problems and I didn't know what to do. The tile was half done, very badly and they had 1,400 dollars of mine. This dragged on for about 2 1/2 months or longer. I just had them come in and hurry and finish just to get them and their personal problems out of my life. It was a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!
