Josh was very professional in assessing the situation and working with my budget. He was able to get out quickly within my work schedule. The workers were very quick and knowledgeable. They left the yard better than it was before, cleaning up everything, even blowing my leaves for me. Very competitive pricing, good machinery and power tools for the operation to go smoothly, curtious. My home insurance was going to drop me if I didn't get things straight in my yard before the storm season coming up. Immediately after telling them that Dyer's was working on it and showing them what they were doing, they took me back. I am truly grateful.

The Dyer family business is superb in every respect. They exceeded my expectations. The crew was professional and helpful when I asked for additional work. Steady and precise all the way. No damage to my lawn or fence when bringing in their heavy equipment. Great cleanup. If you need tree service at a fair price call Dyer's. I know I will be calling again when needed.

Dyer's Tree Service were excellent! Highly recommend them! They showed up when they said they would and completed the work in just a little over an hour. It was a large, Bradford pear tree that towered over my townhouse. I was a little nervous because the front yard is so small that the tree was very close to the house but those guys totally knew what they were doing. They were even kind enough to cut some decent sized branches for me small enough so I could use them as firewood in my small fireplace! The rest they threw in a chipper and hauled away.

Dyers did not perform the work. Lopez Tree Service came over right away. The job is done except the stump grinding because the ground was too wet. The crew were very professional, safe, dedicated, and industrious. Communication was excellent. Albaro showed me certification and insurance up front before we talked about price. He'd had a long list of references, including my neighbor across the street a year ago. By chance I met him that day. I had a large branch that had fallen and offered to dispose of it. I dragged it over and he did it for free. The price Albaro gave me was $1000 better than the next estimate, and I didn't have to haggle. Lopez did such a great job that my neighbor next door hired them right away. The're the only tree service i'll ever call.

Fantastic. A work crew of 12 showed up. We were so impressed with the team. Knew what they were doing and did it all so professionally. Never took a break and cleaned up the property completely after finishing. John knew exactly what needed to be done. We wanted to have a Red Maple topped and shaped - he said this was the wrong time of year to do that - other tree trimmers would have done it anyway. What a knowledgable professional.

I had originally wanted only trimming, but John pointed out that the tree was now too large for the space in front of my townhome, and that the roots were threatening the foundation. He suggested that it be removed, and I felt that that was excellent advice as I’d been concerned about that very thing for some years now. Furthermore, the price he quoted was more than fair and he could do the work that day. The team arrived and the speed, smoothness and professionalism of their work was impressive indeed. They took great care to protect plantings and vehicles, and cleanup was thorough. Dyer’s Tree Service is simply an excellent company and I highly recommmend them.

They did a great job. This was a huge old oak that has been slowly dying for years, but the city arborist would not permit its removal until it was fully dead, which happened over the winter. Dyer's came quickly once permission was granted. Removal was difficult because of the location (two sets of overhead power and cable lines, nearby houses, other trees, a street etc.). They were finished in record time and charged less than other estimates. Afterward some fairly minor damage was noted to a neighbor's retaining wall and fencing, and Dyer's readily agreed to reimburse the necessary repairs. Very pleased overall!

My experience with Dyer's was very good. John came by for a review of the work a day after I posted my request on Angie's List and provided an estimate before he left. The work was performed 2 business days later. His crew did a great job, and I expanded the scope of the work from the original agreement based on their observations. All in all, it was a pleasant consumer experience. Minimal time invested, with great results.

It didn't. I asked for an estimate. Was told the estimator would be here between 3-5PM on a Friday. At 10 minutes after 5PM I called and the estimator said he would be at my house in 25-30 minutes. I cancelled the visit. No phone call telling me they would be late and me waiting from 3-5PM for the estimator. Sorry, punctuality is important to me or at least a phone call telling me you will be late. Me having to call to find out doesn't cut it.

I can't say enough good things about Dyer's. They communicated quickly and arrived exactly when promised. Their estimate was so good, my husband hired them on the spot. We were lucky that they had their crew with them in the area. Their work was safe, efficient and incredibly clean. The crew was kind and even nice to our toddler son who loved their big truck. I got home from work to find them raking up wood chips from the gutters on the street. And our giant problem tree was gone from the backyard. Just an ideal experience. Could not recommend more highly. Thank you for your work!

This group is impressive! A full team of about 10 guys showed up with a couple of trucks and specialized equipment. They did the work within a day and a half of my request, they showed up on time, they worked very quickly and efficiently, they cleaned the site up after the work was done and the price was fantastic.

I used Angies to select and request a quote using the system. They called within minutes and gave me a quote withing hours. The other contractor offering a quote was late. Great crew. Cleaned up everything. Quick Professional and a good price for the work performed.

He did a good job. He was very thorough and did a good job at a reasonable price.

I happened to be at my parents when John Dyer Tree Service was performing some work in their neighborhood, so some of the employees took the opportunity to talk to others, including myself for potential work. I decided to give them a call a week or so later, and within two (2) hours they arrived at my house with a full crew to perform a cost estimate, and if the price was right, to perform the work. Upon arriving they immediately noticed some damage to my tree from the recent storms, so they gave me an estimate for the work recommended, but when I stated that I couldn't have that done at this time, they worked with me to come to a reasonable price to perform work that would meet my needs, but also prevent any additional damage at this time. Within 1-2 hours of arrival they were finished with all work, and they did an exceptional job of trimming the tree, cleaning up, and took every effort to avoid any damage in an extremely small work space. My tree looks great, which a few others have already commented on, and when I asked about working with them again in the future to complete what they recommended, they expressed that they would use the original quote minus the work performed, so that I don't have to pay full price.

He was very good and I would hire him again.

I got a very raw deal from this company. He has never taken care of the stumps. He said originally that he would grind them up but then he told me that it would ruin my lawn. He was supposed to come out and inject the stumps but has not come and has not returned my calls. The trimming work was not a great job.
