+ 8 moreThey do excellent work. They do their own plumbing, electrical work, and painting, so you don't need to wait for subcontractors to show up. Only the tiles and cabinets were installed by others. The crew leader is also great to work with. After four years in our kitchen, everything is solid as a rock.
Description of Work: We have hired Ed Weber's company three times since 2012 for what I would call major structural work - repairing or replacing sagging or damaged floors or foundation piers. We also hired them for a complete kitchen remodel that included tearing out walls and combining three rooms into one large kitchen and den. The kitchen job included installing new windows and doors and building a deck. They leveled an old uneven floor to make it ready for a tile floor. Some of the new walls were built at a 45 degree angle, and the closet and washer-dryer area were fairly complicated - closing off old doorways and building new ones.

+ 0 moreEd Weber, and everyone who works for him, were the types of people who you look forward to dealing with. I've never had a better experience (and I've had many other good ones) with a builder. They solved my problems and did their work the right way.
Description of Work: The joists under my house had rotted and the floor was sagging badly. In some places the joists were no more than an inch or two in thickness. This was caused by an inadequate vapor barrier which allowed moisture into the insulation, and this rotted the joists. Ed Weber's crew diagnosed the problem, came up with a solution, and gave me a price which was a pleasant surprise. Very pleasant surprise. They treated the repair as an emergency and put a crew to work immediately. They built a new entry to the crawlspace, removed all the old insulation, installed new joists and raised -- slightly -- the floor, sistering the new joists to the old. When they finished that they installed new insulation and a vapor barrier. Plus, while they were working they did a few odd jobs around the house which needed the hand of skilled craftsmen.
