I paid $805 deposit for an advertisement offering a new furnace plus installation for $2,400. The company said, that this furnace plus installation would not work in my house. They gave me an estimate of $7,500 to do the work. Furnace alone was over $5,000 and the type/model furnace was not listed on the estimate. So, I went with a different Angie's List provider (who listed exactly what furnace would be installed) that is doing the whole job for significantly less money.

Up until this very day, everything has been working swimmingly. Let me just note. When he arrived, it was getting dark. He worked by flashlight and did not complain one bit. I did, as the bugs were awful. He was awesome. Customer service DOES exist in this business.
Description of Work: I scheduled a "second opinion" after Thornton Services charged me $95.00 to tell me I needed a whole new a/c and heat coil for about $8000.00. I called All Weather and scheduled an appointment. On that day, Bruce was running late and called to updated. I told him we could do it another day, as I had already gone 2 wks with temps in the 90's in my house. He said he would be at my house when he was finished with the emergency job, he was currently working on. He found the fan motor needed replacing and did it. He checked the Freon and found that one of the seals was missing. So he replaced it and added 25 lbs to the system. He said we would wait to see if there was an actual leak before putting more money into it.
