Mr. Shoemaker quickly responded to my call and appointment was made for the next day. He showed up as promised and quickly fixed the leak.

Steve's son, Kyle, showed up on time to replace my garbage disposal. He performed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up everything. I've used Shoemaker and Son several times and recommend them.

I have used them only once. They were very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing. He came in and did what he needed to do, put it together and was ready to go. The contractor I was using recommended them. He was very forthright so I clearly understood what he was saying.

Steve has been my plumber for over 14 years. I have used other plumbers in the past and never been happy with what I get. Steve is extremely honest and competent. He will not cut corners to save money and he will not provide you with substandard work to save money. He is always on time and I have never had a return to fix anything he has done. He leaves the work area clean. Steve uses the best materials available and is work is aesthetically pleasing when he is done. No solder drips or dirty pipe and such. If you are looking for a plumber that will show up and do what he says he will do for a fair price, you cannot go wrong with Shoemaker Plumbing.

I can't say enough good things about Steve Shoemaker, who came and gave me the quote, and Ian, who actually did the work. Steve showed up on-time to provide the estimate, which immediately put him in the top 50th percentile (why is it so hard to get contractors to actually show up and give a quote?) His price was not the cheapest we received but it was competitive and he made a good impression. I wanted to hire a small firm rather than one of the larger franchises I'd seen, so I went with him. It was one of my better decisions lately. Ian and his crew installed all the appliances in our new kitchen over three visits and he really went above and beyond what I expected. The job evolved (as remodels often do) and he didn't bat an eye as we asked more of him and his guys, i.e. repairing faults we found in the bathrooms, moving the pipes in the laundry room. They made helpful suggestions but always considered that we were operating on a budget and that was gratifying. They were professional and I had no hesitation in leaving them in the house on their own. Everything they did worked perfectly, the first time, and that's all I can ask for. Shoemaker Plumbing is now my plumber of choice and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else. You won't regret it.
