When I contacted the company they told me that they no longer participate in the program and they would not honor the deal. They never offered any alternative with assistance in helping me.

Company did not contact me after purchasing a deal to have an outlet installed. When I contacted the company they would not honor the Angie's List Deals.

On time - did a good job. He had an assistant who was also experienced - seemed very capable. I did not do any other estimation for this work - he stayed with the estimate he had given me.

I was introduced to Gus via a real estate agent and have used him ever since. He has come to fix a variety of electrical problems we have from wiring to installing recessed lighting and repairing an outdoor light. Once he fixed these items, we have not had any issues since. He has also come to fix issues on last minutes request that needed to be done quickly as I work from home and am in need of the wireless connection. This has never been a problem and he has gone out of his way to make sure we are taken care of. Highly recommend Gus for any electrical needs.

He never installed the ceiling fan. I had to return it.

The provider arrived on time but was unhappy that the people working on the patio were also there. We resolved that the other workers would pause. The electrician seemed competent but, in the long run, when we turned on the light switch later smoke came out of the switch. We then had another electrician come and repair the original work.

Gustavo troubleshot an exterior light fixture and immediately corrected the problem. I called on a Sunday morning and he scheduled the appointment within a few days. His prices are fair, he was prompt and professional. It was a refreshing experience. I have more electrical work to do in the house and will call Gustavo to do the job.

Gustavo was able to come directly to our house within about a half hour of our call on a Friday evening. He showed up promptly and resolved the issue to our complete satisfaction. The price may have been a little high and he did not communicate much about the repair until it was complete, but given the availability and quick resolution, it was reasonable and we were happy with the outcome.

Gustavo was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised at the bill and found his work to be exemplary.

Gustavo answered the phone when I called, and he offered to come out to my house within 2 days to take a look at the work that I would need done. Yay! (I had called 5 other electricians before him, 3 of whom never called me back, and 2 who called me over a week later.) He arrived exactly on time and took the time to discuss the issues that I was having with my lights. Previous contractors had not installed IC-rated lights, which was probably the root cause of the recessed lights overheating and blinking out. We also discuss another potential project that I had in mind. One business day later, he emailed me his cost estimate. I did not shop around because I was on a deadline, but the price was certainly fair. Once I told him that I was ready to move forward, Gustavo was able to come out that same week. On the day of the job, he and his helper arrived exactly on time. I was working from home that day, and although they were at the house for several hours, I barely knew they were there. They were extremely polite and neat. The outdoor outlet that I was having installed was for a landscape/hardscape project that I had going at the same time. Gustavo was more than happy to call my landscape architect to discuss the placement of the outlet to meet the needs of that other project. Overall, I was very happy with Gustavo's work and professionalism and will definitely use his services again. I also asked him for several business cards to pass out to friends and family.

this is Mr. Rodriguez's 2nd service call to our house. He came in late October to repair a tripped circuit breaker that caused an electrical outage in the upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. we were desperate because we had been away for 6 months due to a family emergency and came home to a house with only partial lighting. We called 3 companies and he was the only one able to accommodate us quickly. On this visit, he replaced the frozen gable fan, a problem he identified in the first visit. Mr Rodriguez is punctual, professional, thorough,courteous and pleasant and performs quality work at a very fair price. Also, because our neighborhood experiences frequent power outages, he recommended we install a generator. He explained where he would put the generator, how it would be connected to our electrical box and what the generator would power (lights, refrigerator, etc). We will follow his advice and have one installed. We highly recommend Mr. Rodriguez to our fellow Angie's List members.

Work was completed on time and on budget

When we returned home after being away for 6 months due to a family emergency, there were no lights upstairs in the bedrooms, bathrooms. the circuit breaker controlling those lights kept tripping and we contacted Angie's List for references. Mr. Rodriguez was able to come the next day. He arrived promptly at 9 am as promised and discovered the problem after thorough troubleshooting. He found a bad wire in the upstairs bathroom and a frozen fan in the attic. He repaired the wire in the bathroom, restored the upstairs lights. We made an appointment to replace the gable fan in November. He kindly replaced the burned out bulbs in the den. Mr. Rodriguez is professional, prompt, courteous, and kind. .We will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to others. He came through for us when we needed him most.

Very prompt, very reasonable, very clean, very nice. He came and repaired our meter box. He had to stablilize and re-attach as well as sealing to siding. I asked him to give me an idea of how much to also add an outdoor outlet to the front porch and he was able to do it at the same time. He helped move the piano back and forth to allow access. He added a GFI circut. He clearly was very professional as well as considerate. Will definately call him when it's time to do the electric for our unfinished basement.

Hi price was outstanding, and he was cheaper than anyone else. He was really knowledgeable about lighting techniques and saved me a ton of money by explaining how to do things in a way that would give the same effects while being cheaper. While he was at my house, he saw some non-electrical things that needed fixing and let me know about them. In particular, he let me know about a drain that was draining near my foundation. He recommended that I get a pipe to lead the water elsewhere.

The guy came right on time and looked at the problem. He was very neat and cleaned up fantastically. He gave me a clear estimate on the cost. He was very pleasant and completed the work in an efficient manner. He was very nice.

I had used Rodriguez Electric in our townhouse before moving to this single-family home. Good and reliable electricians are hard to find, especially ones who understand your needs, work within your budget, and are willing to work with you on your vision for the outcome. So I called him as soon as I knew I wanted to install a ceramics studio in my home. He caught onto the need for this quickly (there are specifications for safety that are unique) and did all the work well, as expected! He has also put in additional circuits in the garage and added electrical to the attic. When our basement was flooded in 2008 and we learned insurance would cover it, we wanted to renovate the basement to make it more livable and resistant to water damage. When the time came for electrical work, we interviewed several electricians, including Kolb Electric. Rodriguez was best on price and quality and Gustavo came to assess our needs. He worked with us to install all the electrical items I wanted, to our specifications and to code (which he knows inside and out). We saved time and money with me getting the permits (easy in Fairfax). All the work was done on time, within budget. He and his crew were prompt and reliable and cleaned up after themselves. And the work was done during the relative chaos of a basement renovation. We had the attic fan replaced at the same time ($450 including a 10-year warranty). We've had the basement in use ever since and the only issue is the usual -- changing lightbulbs every so often. Otherwise, we have been fully and safely electrified.

They are neat, and you never know they have been here. They do wonderful work. Everything he has ever done for me has been perfect.

They did a pretty good job. I don’t have a lot of complaints about it. There is one light fixture that is slightly off from where it should have been but there might be a stud in the way. The price was very good. I only got two quotes and they were both about the same. They were timely and very professional.

My air conditioning was not working so I called in a couple of HVAC companies and they told me that my attic fan needs to be replaced as it was not working. I got Gustavo's details from Angie's list and called him. He agreed to come next day to give me a quote but when I told him that it needed to be replaced ASAP, he gave me quote for labor based on my information. He came next day at the promised time and did a great job. Explained about how it works and gave me some tips for future help.

He is a great electrician. All my friends use him. He comes in and you would never know it because there is not a speck of dirt. He is like a guest in your house. I have been using him for 10 years. He has fair pricing. He is not cheap, but so good. He is tidy, he knows what he is doing and he is a very good electrician. He can install anything. He comes every three months to make sure what he did is working properly. He is coming out tomorrow.
