They come out annually to check it and service it.

Heat pump quit working. Even though I had it at 68 degrees, it at one point ran for 80 degrees in the house. I got the heat off and called them. I wasn't in an hurry. when they came, everything was working fine, so he couldn't find a fault in the system, and it hasn't broke since. I wasn't as satisfied with the response, from that particular employee. I don't think he spent enough time checking, based on my problem. Response time. Beyond that, nothing. Spend more time searching out the problem.

I think they did a really good job. Very timely. Very reliable. The reason I say that is, I had another company prior to them, and they charged me on two different occasions, for the same problem, and they charged me like eighteen hundred and twelve hundred dollars both times, and never got them fixed. They wouldn't respond to an letter. I called HCE Systems and came out and got it fixed. I was called for the second problem, and they have done a good job. Around here I have used them three times, I think with the Geo thermal they did an excellent job. With the regular heat pump, because I have two homes, they couldn't find the problem. There is a difference in personnel too. The Geo thermal guy does a great job, they send a second guy for the second home. Nothing can be improved. Very good quality.

Original ceiling heat had failed after 35 years so I had baseboard heat put in two rooms which no longer had installed heat (I was using oil-filled portable heaters). While that work was to be done I decided to upgrade heat in bathroom and laundry room. New wall heaters did not fit old openings but they constructed metal surrounds and painted them to match walls.
