Cove Creek did have posts with round holes, but the two-hole ones were 18 inches center to center. The three-hole ones were 15 inches, which is what we needed, and we considered taking them and having them cut off, but the people at Cove Creek pointed out that the rounded tops wouldn't match either. They gave us a price of $11 a post for the custom work, and then while we waited quickly gathered up posts with no holes and drilled them through exactly the way we needed - even trimming the tops to match our sample. They cut all four to the right length to install (the fence stands about three feet high), and loaded them up. The $58 included an extra rail because one of ours had rotted out. We got a couple of extras for when more of the fence goes. We installed them a couple of days later, and are very happy with the restored fence. Finally. These people sell all kinds of wooden fencing, as well as mulch, and they are located only about a dozen miles south of Charlottesville, VA on Route 29.
