vERY WELL GREAT JOB. 2 OF MY TREES DIED. THE BUSHES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE UPROOTED, HOWEVER THEY GREW BACK.

Excellant, we were concerned how to get some of the trees down that were close to the house. The Liberty crew took everything down in pieces to protect the house from any secondary impact. Everyone knew thier job and worked together without delay. All the guys were great and Eddie and Pinea made it all happen. We got 3 other bids, while one was cheaper it meant parsing out the services to different contractors and we were concerned about overall quality and control. The other bids had exceptions built in, like separate charges for stump grinding, or if more than one chipper truck load was generated, or multiple truckloads for the large wood. All in all Liberty Tree Service provided one price for one statement of work, no conditions or surprises. Quick to get onsite and constantly at work. I even commented to my wife, the crew came to work, nobody stopped to check thier cell phone or stand around and smoke every 15 minutes. We had no problem providing a tip to the crew, which Pinea handed out directly so we knew it went to everyone for thier work. We look forward to working with Liberty for any other services they provide.

We have used them before and had been very satisfied. They are responsive to the initial call and do the work in a timely professional manner. This time they also did the work in a very professional manner. We are very happy with the quality of work but they did not complete the clean up.The owner came back to review the outstanding work to be done. Told us that "we were the boss and he wanted to make us happy, and they would be back to finish by the end of the week. That was almost 2 weeks ago and they are no show. I have been calling to get them to come back to clean up which they said they would last week, but they do not take my call or return my phone call

Mr. Castillo said he would come back after Christmas and finish grinding the stumps and smooth out the ground in preparation for seeding. He has not come back to do the work he said he would do. I have called multiple times and left several voice messages. I have also sent texts. There are 10 stumps that still need to be ground up and there are multiple piles of debris that he left in my yard and said he would come back to clean up. So, I either have to do this myself or pay someone else to come do it. The mistake I made was paying this guy in full back when he did the work last November. What stinks is it is already April and I haven't planted grass seed yet. It's almost too late in the year at this point. He charged a fair price but that is the only positive thing I have to say.

Castillio was late for the estimate appointment, but they were on time with cutting, took two days.

Both good and bad. First, getting the guys to show up for the actual estimate was torture - 3 broken appointments before they arrived late and finally gave us an estimate. We put up with this because our experience with 2 other tree companies was identical. We agreed on an estimate, but later got a $200 discount since they didn't show up for the first appointment we made to do the work. Once they showed up to do the work, they were professional, quick, and they did a great job. But then we ran into other problems. Our agreement was that they would grind the stumps. On the day of the job, they only had a huge stump grinder with them. They couldn't use that because of the location of the trees - it would have ripped up our yard. Their smaller grinder was broken at the time, so they promised to return and grind the stumps later. It's been several months and many calls, and they haven't returned. So a portion of our job was never done, and we're not happy.

Liberty Tree Service is also known as Castillo Tree service. I don't know why they have more than one name. In the beginning, there were some serious communication problems; they missed their appointment three times and were late on the fourth try. I did not find them to be very reliable. I liked their rate and that is why I went with them, but they are supposed to come back and ground the tree stumps down, but I have still yet to hear from them. They did finish the job they were there to do and they cleaned up their mess. I just don't know if I would rehire them because it was such a hassle to get them to come out and do the job.
