Ace Glass

Last week you sent Troy Helmes to replace our windscreen and I wanted to let you know that I think he is absolutely brilliant. He was not only professional and a pleasure to speak with but he was courteous of the fact I know nothing about cars and very conscious of our horrific experience with Safelight. I would recommend Troy and Ace Glass in a heartbeat to all of our friends. Please pass on our thanks to Troy.

Originally they said it would cost $189 but after inspection they determined that 2 plastic pieces that the windshield sits on were cracked and that if they replaced the windshield without replacing the plastic pieces,wind noise might come through into the cabin.I Agreed to updated price of $306 with new plastic pieces from dealer.1 month later and windshield seems fine.

When I showed up for my appointment, Ace Glass took me right away and performed the work while I waited. It was quick and I could barely see where the chip had been. They did an excellent job for a very good price and in a timely manner.

We had an entire window shattered from a kicked up rock while driving on a Saturday. Our insurance company's preferred provider was not able to fix it (at their location) until 5 days later, and we had to pay out of pocket since we had not met our deductible, so we found Ace Glass through Angie's List. They were able to come to our house the next day and replace the window for less than our insurance's negotiated amount. The office staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and asked all the right questions to make sure we got the proper glass for the van. The glass installer, Troy, was on time, efficient, and the completed work looks and works great. We are very happy with our experience.

Arrived on schedule and service was quick. I had a small rock chip in the windshield about the size of a dime. The repair looked okay but it was raining as I left. The next morning when I was driving there appeared to be a couple of lines in the windshield at the spot of the repair. They branched out about .1 of an inch from the original chip. There were not any lines before the repair. Over the next week they became more pronounced. I took the car back to Ace Glass and asked that they repair it. After about 15 minutes of discussion the man who repaired it originally said that there was nothing he could do as he had 'drilled' the original chip and put glue in and if he did it again it might get worse. I told him it was already worse than it was when I brought it in. He told me that he would be willing to put the payment of $34.50 toward a new windshield!! Replace an entire windshield because of a chip that was originally smaller than a dime and now had two lined protuding less than .1 of an inch. Ridiculous! I left completely dissatisfied with the repair.

So happy I switched to Ace for my latest windshield replacement. I had used another company for several years (who is well known and advertises heavily on TV etc.) and only wish I had switched to Ace sooner. Ace answered my email request quickly, worked with my limited schedule openings, and did a great job on the install for significantly less cost than I expected. My minivan apparently has two different windshields depending on which options you have and the prior company I used to use took THREE seperate trips and multiple conversations to get the right one installed. Ace already knew there were two windshield options for my minivan before they even came out and proactively brought both ones just to make sure they could install it right the first time. I could have saved an additional $40 by having it replaced in their shop but having their mobile service worked much better with my schedule.

I purchased the Angie's List deal and was able to get an appointment the same day! I was in and out of there, with the work completed, within 20 minutes. I was very pleased with how promptly the work was completed, the friendliness of the staff, and the quality of the work.

My wife took the car in and they let us know it was only a cosmetic knick and did not need the repair. They did not charge us for looking at it.

They did a great job. I had used them before and the office staff is great, very friendly and punctual. I would recommend them to anyone that needs glass service.

There were two problems, both related to the car, not Ace, and they solved both very nicely. Despite the problems, and that they had to spend more time on the installation than they normally would, they charged me the same as the estimate given. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and professional and I would recommend them to anyone needing a windshield replaced.

I arrived a few minutes prior to my appointment time. The staff was friendly and took care of me right away. The service was done within 30 minutes and I have not had any problems with the repair to date. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Very smooth transaction! Called up for estimate, given over the phone and set up for appointment the very next day. Received a courtesy call from the office manager and then a couple of hours later, the installer called to advise me he was on the way. Installed, paid and done! Very efficient, courteous and professional.

I locked myself out of the house on the coldest day of the year (maybe the decade), so I broke a pane of glass to get in. I called Ace Glass and someone was here really quickly. We discussed whether or not it would be worth it to replace it, or better to replace the whole door. I decided to replace it since the door might not be a standard size and I didn't want to wait... It was done quickly, he removed the glass left in the door and took it with him (I guess, since he didn't seem to leave it for me!), and was very pleasant and helpful.Start to finish, not two hours.

2nd windshield replaced by Ace in past few years. No problems and a good experience.

They did a great job, I took about a 40 minute walk checking out the other stores in the area and when I went back the person who did the work was just parking the car in the front of the store. A+ all the way around I am very happy with the work and they will get all my business from now on.

Installed a new windshield. The only thing that I didn't like was they should have wiped inside my car after installing. Otherwise, they did a great job and I would recommend to everyone. They were very reasonable on the cost and very courteous service!

He came to give me an estimate, and had the exact glass in his truck. He called to get a price and they gave me the lowest price available...and considering he had to carry this large glass up a ladder, I thought it was very fair. Did not take long...installer's name was GRANT. Excellent customer service. Would return.

The initial measure was done on schedule as was the mirror installation. We are very pleased with the project.

They were quite experienced and knew what they were doing. They were also very responsive to my calls, explained the cost of the repairs thoroughly, and had a quick turnaround between scheduling and installation. Furthermore, everyone with whom I dealt was very professional.

Everything went as well as one would expect from a professional service. I was late for my appointment, they called to check on me, worked around everything and were still finished well within the time frame promised. Their staff were helpful, friendly and clearly knew what they were doing and wanted to be sure that it met my expectations. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them without reservation. And, BTW, they were also less expensive than the other shops.

The wait in the office was more than I anticipated,based on the lack of other people in the reception area. The length of time to order and install the glass in the window was 2 weeks. Longer than I hoped that it would take. The work was done professionally and acceptably.

They showed up right on time to remove the old mirror that was glued to the bathroom wall. It was too big for my wife and I to handle. They got it off with minimal trouble and no damage to the wall; they cleaned up and were gone in 30 minutes, taking care of disposal of the mirror. Great job!
