Description of Work: Richard Bell patched and repaired plaster walls in the bathroom and dining room before repainting and did so under a time crunch since we had guests arriving for a wedding. In the bathroom we used a dark color which required mulitple coats of paint. His attention to evenness of coverage was superb . The diningroom required finding a match to the existing paint since we were repairing a section of one wall where the paint had popped in several spots. Both the repair and the match were done so well that there is no evidence of the repairwork. His estimates of time, materials and weather challenges were right on the mark. I felt I was dealing with a trustworthy professional in whom I could place confidence not only that the job would be done well and ontime, but that my home was valued and respected. We plan to use him again for a much larger job.Very Satisfied Client,BBD-Richmond

+ 1 moreThis was a subcontract, so I can't comment on price--but I expect rates would be quite competitive. The quality of the work was very good and I was pleased to have some nagging problems at ceiling/wall corners fixed, and fixed very well. Richard Bell was also impressive in the caution he used to avoid causing paint or spackling spills. Very careful use of plastic sheeting to isolate different areas. He had six or seven areas throughout the house and he very methodologically sealed each of them off and then went to work. Left no trace except the completed work!
Description of Work: Richard Bell did some fixing of ceilings and walls as part of an attic renovation. This was mostly touch-up work to realign walls, repair around new fixtures, and re "popcorn" some parts of the downstairs ceiling.
