All A's because Sal & his crew were all that and more on that hot 92 degrees day. This is the second move they did for us. As usual they all were polite,very friendly and caring of the piano. They work as a team while performing the move. I had no worries with Triumph crew. We called last minute and Becky the office manager asked Sal if he could move our piano and she kept in contact with us to confirm the appointment as she would be out of the office that day. We sure were lucky using Angies List and finding Triumph Piano Movers! Would definitely use the crew again.

Triumph not only did an outstanding job but they beat the price on one of the more reputable companies listed here on Angie's list by $300!! At the last minute, I asked them to move other items around in my new home for a little extra money and they were more than happy to accomodate me. This is the second time that I have used Triumph and would recommend them to everyone.

He really took care of the house and was very careful as we asked them to be. He and three other guys came out and really responded to our needs. I was pleasantly shocked by their level of customer service and the way they actually did everything I asked them to. Sal and all of his men work really hard. He moved everything from our single story condo to a two story house, and he put all the boxes and furniture exactly where we told them to, in the correct rooms, in only three or four hours. It was really just a great experience overall with them. They showed up right on time, their price was great, and they were very friendly and easy to work with. Sal even surprised me by having no problems with some requests: we had a high-efficiency washer and dryer stacked on top of each other in a really tight corner. When we installed them there, the big guys who had installed them were unable to get the units installed without dinging up the walls. Sal was able to move them with no problem. The entire time he was working, Sal had total control over the situation – he managed his workers extremely well and kept everyone right on task.

We were very satisfied and the crew were so friendly and polite. The job took 13 minutes with 4 people.

Sal and his crew were absolutely fantastic! We had received a quote from Triumph and another local moving company. Triumph was half the price of the other company. Sal and his crew of six arrived right on time at 10 am. They wrapped our furniture and all glass items in blankets and plastic wrap. They loaded 1 truck and half of another truck in 2 hours. Delivered our belongings to our new home in Norfolk and unloaded in 1 1/2 hours. When they left our home, each person shook our hands and thanked us for our business and wished us well. What a awesome company! We were very impressed and would use them again without hesitation. If you want a great moving experience, call Triumph!

Probably the most pleasant and worry-free experience I've ever had with a moving company. Sal and Keith arrived on time, were careful with every piece of cargo, were considerate and thoughtful, and got the job done quickly with no cost overruns, time overruns or other problems. Friendly and accommodating! A job well done! I highly recommend Scafidi and Sons!

Triumph was very responsive from the get go- we scheduled an onsite visit the day after I first called in and Sal provided a price quote by the next day. It was very competitive based upon the other quotes received and the decision quickly made to go with Triumph. The move was scheduled for just a week and a half out so we were fortunate to be able to work this in. We had a scheduling hiccup internally and I called Sal to let him know we may have to delay the move, but weren't quite sure when the next date would be. Sal indicated this was no issue and even said he'd hold the original spot just in case. Lucky for us he did that as the original date did hold, I confirmed this with Sal, and he promised his team would be there as planned. On moving day, I got a call from Gino indicating they were on the way and arrived right on time. He and Fred introduced themselves, reviewed the scope of the move and clarified which pieces were going where and then got right on it. Gino and Fred were very professional in all respects. They presented themselves in uniform, were effective communicators, fastidious and conscientious workers and were a pleasure to have around. They packed very carefully and moved all of the items without incident. At one delivery location we had an awkward and very heavy item that required mental calculations and good physical effort to move into place. The experience of the Triumph team showed as this was maneuvered and hoisted into place successfully. I was impressed. In addition, the original quote had estimated a move time of 5-6 hours, though it took longer due to some of the delivery challenges, Triumph stuck to the original estimate- no questions asked. Hard to find this kind of integrity these days and though I would have gladly paid for the extra time- this was icing on the cake of a good experience. Overall I was more than pleased with the whole experience. The equation is simple- Triumph is responsive, very competitively priced, extremely competent and experienced, and understands the importance of customer satisfaction in maintaining a successful business. I've endured roughly a dozen moves of this magnitude and this was far and away the best experience of them all. I recommend Sal and Triumph Moving without hesitation.

Sal and his crew did a very nice job. The piano had to come down narrow stairs to a landing, then down another set of stairs. They carefully surveyed the job, wrapped the piano, and moved it with no damages to the houses or the piano. Their bid was lower than others I obtained.

This is the second time I have used Triumph Moving and Storage. I believe repeat business is the surest testimony to a job well done. I called and set up a date for the move by phone. Sal and two movers showed up on time and did a great job. They brought their own truck with a hydraulic lift that proved very helpful. They also carry a dolly, at least 20 good quality moving blankets and a host of other tools. I am very particular about contracting moving services and I did a lot of research before deciding on Triumph the first time. It really paid off. Sal, the owner, is great to work with and has always been glad to accommodate any special needs or concerns. He is professional, upbeat and full of energy. I would characterize his approach as an ideal balance between speed and care. He is fast, but goes at a reasonable enough speed to avoid damaging your home or furniture. Sal is very skilled at packing a truck or storage unit. He will make the most of your space and do so in a way that adequately protects your belongings. I simply can't say enough good things about Sal and his company. As a bonus, he is a veteran and employs veterans. I would highly recommend him to those discerning customers that want the absolute best movers at reasonable cost.

Owner and employees conducted themselves with great professionalism. Initial phone call returned promptly by owner, who took time to ask questions regarding the move, and made an estimate over the phone. While the estimate seemed a bit high, he indicated that the travel time to the location, and the number of movers required for the job were contributing factors. Scheduled the move quickly, was notified when the crew was on the way, arrived in a timely fashion. Introduced themselves, managed paperwork professionally (and politely!). Spent time planning move and ensuring that all areas were protected. Wrapped piano in blankets, shrink wrapped it, wrapped banister in blankets to avoid damage. Quickly and carefully cleaned up. Would confidently recommend this company for any moving needs. From start to finish, the company and representatives conducted themselves with the highest professionalism, clearly communicated, and performed the services beyond expectations.

First off, I spoke to Sal, personally, each time I called. He gave me a quote which was very reasonable so we hired Triumph to move our 3 bedroom, 3rd floor apartment to a 2 story condo. The 3-person crew called first and then showed up on time. They were fast, attentive, and very professional. We had a lot of stuff and they traversed those stairs a hundred times without complaint. Once at the new place, anything that had been disassembled was correctly reassembled and everything was diligently placed wherever we wanted. It was boring and perfect - exactly what someone wants, no drama and a non-event. I would absolutely use Triumph again.

The whole experience was great. More this I expected. Sal and his guys were on time, professional, polite and friendly. I will recommend them to everyone.

The crew was hard working and professional. They did a great job for an assignment that was bigger than we expected. They were very good about protecting my walls and floor and I would definitely use them again.

Sal is incredible. He supervised and coached his team the whole time. All the young men were respectful tome and very careful with all of my furniture. They were also very flexible when I decided to let them move the whole house rather than try to save money by moving the boxes myself. I was so pleased, I hired them again a few weeks later to move some appliances for me. I highly recommend Triumph.

This is way too wordy of a post but I am very, very happy with all that transpired for this move!!! Overall, this was a GREAT experience in so many ways!! This was the first time that I used Angie's List and it led me to a great company!! I have very little, if any, time during the week to call around to do comparison shopping. Saturday morning I logged into Angie's List to research movers and found quite a few of them, which were highly recommended. The difference between those and Triumph Moving and Storage is that Triumph answers their phone on weekends! Triumph was my first call of the day and Sal answered on the first ring. I gave him the details of my move and he quoted me a what I considered a good price. I told him I was in the "research" phase, thanked him for the quote and told him I'd call him back to let him no whether or not I'd require his services. I made three more calls, all of which were received by answering machines. Wanting to get this move over with, I phoned Sal to let him know that I'd like him to help me with my move. He said he could make it happen on the following Tuesday and gave me the time he and his team could be there. Tuesday arrived and, prior to his arrival, Sal gave me a call to let me know they were on their way. On-time and fully prepared, Sal, Dennis and Fred set to the task of prepping and loading my furniture onto the truck for the move. This trio of men are true gentlemen and have a great work ethic! They explained all that they were doing as they were doing it, they were expeditious in the process and they were very professional. The home into which they moved these bulk items had a tight stairway with a very inconvenient turn going to the second floor. They moved the those items going to the second floor through this area with ease. Better yet, Sal accomodated a change in the move by allowing a swap out of refrigerators. Originally, I planned on only moving one from the old location to the new. Mid-stream, I asked if the refrigerators could be swapped and Sal said yes, they could do that! That allowance saved me a lot of "grief" long term. Ok. All items made it to where they need to go and everything is in working order!! I can't say enough great things about Triumph Moving and Storage!! I would definitely hire them again!!! I would definitely recommend them!!!

I had a great experience! My lease was expiring within a few days while I was away for work and everything that could go wrong, did. Since I wasn't able to make a third flight back up to Virginia before my lease expired I was pushed to hire movers. I was in a rush, so I went on craigslist and search for movers (huge mistake)! I hired a company that seemed legit. They had a website and a bunch of promises. They took my credit card information before going to my home. They ended up taking 4 hours to break down one bed and put my washer and dryer on the truck. I called the owner and he cursed me out for asking why my bed set wasn't wrapped prior to packing it away on the truck. He immediately called the movers and told them I refused to pay (he had my credit card number, that was the first thing he asked for). Needless to say, the movers cursed my sister and father and threw all of my belongings off of the truck. Well I was frantic by this time because time was very limited. I subscribed to Angie's List, so I could find a mover and have a peice of mind. I WAS SO GLAD I DID!!! I spoke to Salvatore, the owner, who immediately went to my house during my first call to give me an estimate and they were there first thing in the morning. My dad kept calling throughout the whole process commending them on their professionalism and work ethic. THANK YOU SALVATORE AND TRIUMPH!!!! THE BEST MOVERS BY FAR!!!

Sal and his crew were professional and friendly, from the first conversation I had with him on the phone for an estimate to the close of our business. Extremely knowledgeable, they took tremendous care of my piano and my home during the move. I am currently looking to work on a new project involving transport of materials, and I am looking forward to working with Sal and his guys again. I know I am in good hands with them!

A half day of moving - followed by a 7 hour drive and then navigating Smoky Mountain single lane roads in a moving van... not a scratch on anything. They did an amazing job.

They worked hard and tried to go above and beyond what was asked of them.

They were quick to provide me an estimate to pack and move about 1/2 of my house, mostly the packing portion since most of the furniture was moved previously by my husband to our new home. They were available to get it done quickly, and returned all my calls promptly. When they were late getting to the house due to weather, they gave me an estimate of when they would arrive, and were on time. To compensate for their tardiness due to weather, they sent an extra man to help, no charge to keep on our schedule we had agreed on. The workers were all fast, professional, listened to what I wanted, and took special care with items that I was concerned about (crystal, family antiques, baby pictures of my son). Everything arrived in 1 piece, so extra marks on anything, and they packed up everything securely. It took them 6 hrs to pack everything into boxes, load it safely, and pad all the furniture. Once we arrived at the new house, 1 hour of unloading, and they were done! They put the boxes and furniture where I wanted the first time, and were incredibly polite the whole time. Their price beat out the competition, hands down, and of all the moves I have done (I was raised in the military, and am active duty now), this was by far the best. They laid down mats so they wouldn't track water and mud into the house (it was raining and had been all day). They were wonderful.

After calling around to several moving companies in the area that we unable to accommodate our move on two week notice, I found Triumph and couldn't be happier. They had no hesitation in fitting us in. We only needed our king size bedroom set, kitchen table and office desk moved, but all the pieces were heavy and awkward to move. They took care to wrap all the leather furniture up prior to moving. The only Issue we ran into was one of our desk drawers didn't close smoothly after it was put back in, but my husband was able to fix that in just a few minutes. I would hire them again for my next move in a heartbeat.

They were very fast and professional. My husband was very impressed. In the past we have moved ourselves but this was way worth the money and saved on my husbands shoulder!

Wonderfully. Absolutely no problems. Sal and his crew were very professional and pleasant to work with. If there is such a thing, this was a smooth and easy move. Kudos to Triumph Moving for a job well done.

Could not have gone better. From my initial phone calls gathering estimates, to setting up the appointment, to the actual day of the move, Sal was friendly, knowledgable, and made everything easy. His partner Kwame and their two helpers worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. They scouted out the path they would take with the piano, noting floor textures, lips, and obstacles. They were very conscientious about protecting the instrument and the floors in the house. They made sure I was happy with everything before they left. Wonderful experience.

Sal is the owner of the firm. He worked on-site with his crew to pack and move the contents of my daughter's 2 bedroom apartment onto a mid-size truck. They were pleasant to work with, and were able to start a day earlier than planned - we were ready. Sal drove the truck up I-95 to Fairfax, VA., and arrived on time at the designated storage facility. This was an easy move for my daughter and I. Triumph Moving and Storage did a great job, were friendly, on-time, and reasonably priced. I'll recommend them to others in Tidewater who need to move to Northern Virginia.
