Completed a moving list, paid deposit....then owner calls back to say he will have to do it in two days, then cancels job after processing credit card for $100 deposit! What a great way to do business!

They did a good job, but I think it was a little expensive. I ended up having about half of my belongings moved by someone else but they didn't reduce the fee.

Willing to work with us, nice/professional, Efficient, willing to swap out appliances and drive them back to our old house with a day's notice, hard workers, patient--had trouble with a fridge getting into a doorway and Sal worked with my husband for about an hour to get it to fit in. Would definitely recommend them.

Both moves went beautifully! We have moved several times over the past 23 years and this was by far the best move we have had as far as price, smoothness, and professionalism. "Sal" Scafidi, the owner of Triumph, arrived on time for the estimate and gave a much better one than the other estimates we had, both of which I think were inflated due to the size of our house. Sal arrived with the packers and since I have several antiques and breakables, he personally talked to the packers and supervised them throughout, while he personally packed the "special" items I had separated on the diningroom table. On moving day, Sal and his movers, most notably Fred, were very courteous and professional and handled all of our antiques with gentleness and special care. Everything went smoothly getting the enormous amount of items into the huge storage unit. Sal, a professional piano mover as well, had packed our baby grand with precision, as well as our grandfather clock and other antique furniture and paintings. On the moving day to our new home, Sal and his two helpers, which thankfully included Fred again, and another excellent worker Julio, arrived very early to load the items from the storage unit into two trucks and then head out for the 150 mile trek to our new home. I was concerned about the stairs that were leading into the new house as well as the steep stairs, but they got everything in and some very heavy items up the stairs without a problem. The baby grand piano was set up well, as well as the grandfather clock. Out of the thousands of breakable items in this move, nothing was scratched and only one glass and bowl were broken, both of which could be repaired easily. Sal and his men were very courteous and professional throughout. I highly recommend Triumph Movers and would use them again in a heartbeat!

As a client this move was a high-wire event going 150 miles with contemporary bedroom(s) and heritage antique furniture, irreplaceable ancester-mastercrafted cabinet and tall clock, and plate glass tops on most it. Mr. "Sal" Scafidi took all of this in stride at the estimate walk-thru, and gave personal touch when he led the moving team. As an added relief they accomplished it in one day removing my anxiety about overnight storage. I was on the pick-up end and my husband took the delivery. We were impressed by their manners and get-to-it professionalism the minute the 3-man crew hit the door at each house. The men worked smoothly together constantly coaching each other as they moved through doorways, stairs, and around corners. We unwrapped during delivery and not a single break, crack, nick, or scratch on anything. There is a tiny wobble with their office assistant who could polish attention to details, but has refreshing core communication skills and is prompt with accurate follow-up. I'm sure this will improve with experience. We got multiple estimates and Triumph was price competitive. A discreet logo on their card and truck states "Veteran Owned". Overall: A company that made it easy to check off every box on our moving wish list.

They were great. I sent them a message here on Angies List requesting a quote, they called me that day and took my information and were able to give me a quote and schedule the move. The movers showed up on time and were very professional the whole time. They came in took a look at the piano and pulled it from the wall to look it over to see if there was any prior damage or marks. and before we knew it they had it on a dolly and out the door. They took great care to make sure no damage was done to the piano or the house during the processes. They followed me to the house we were moving the piano to and had it in the house and in place in no time. They took extra care to not damage my hard wood floors. In total from the time they walked into the first house to when they were wrapping everything up it was right over 30 mins in total. I am really happy with their service and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

They were professional, easy to work with and quick.

I only needed to have some couches moved from upstairs to downstairs. They were the least expensive and the lady over the phone was very good about getting back to me. The movers were very professional, careful, and quick. I will definitely use them again.

As I had owned several houses before, I had quite a lot to move and I was moving it to a considerably smaller location. Sal and his men moved everything down a long hallway and then down an elevator to the truck. They also carefully took apart my brass bed and a rather large wicker daybed. Put them back together perfectly. I also had two large bookcases full of books and they took all the books out and packed them before they moved the 6 ft. wooden cases. As I?m a bit on the weak side at 65, they also packed my whole kitchen/dining room. Not a thing was damaged. They moved like greased lighting but handled everything with velvet gloves. Sal had a plan for everyday and once he gave out assignments, he, Fred, Troy and Asa moved quickly and efficiently. They amazed us all and they deserve triple stars for politeness. A fantastic team! Overall, I was very pleased with this company. Triumph sent a large truck and 3 movers for my move. All three guys were very nice and professional. Even though most of the items were large and heavy, the crew was able to complete the move very quickly. They took extra care with fragile items and delivered all of my furniture without any problems. The only issue I experienced was with the office. I was told they would call to confirm the details of my move a day or two before my scheduled move date. I was scheduled to move on a Saturday morning and had not heard from them until I called them Friday afternoon. The office manager was out of the office, so they were shorthanded in the office. Everything turned out fine, but be sure to get confirmation prior to your move.

I have used this company on two occasions, and everything went very well both times from scheduling to the move itself. The owner, Sal, supervised each move and was extremely professional. He made sure that my items were handled carefully and protected from damage. They arrived on time and finished the job quickly. I would highly recommend them.

They (Sal) called ahead to advise on both dates when they were en route. He methodically instructed his co-workers with every move to insure a "no snags" move from the living room to the dining room and back again. Went above and beyond trying to "correct" issues that my baby grand had in it beforehand even. Great service by the total team, Sal, Fred and Shilvio.

The move went great. From the very first call I made to Becky to the actual movers, Fred and Jai, everything went smoothly. I was extremely pleased with the professional knowledge and care they shown with moving my furniture. My pieces were large and heavy and they handle them with care and ease. I would use Triumph again in a heartbeat. My grandfather clock which always worries me when I move was handle wonderfully and keeping perfect timing. Thanks Fred for the tips.

Dispatcher arranging move was very responsive, precise and kept me up to date since there was bad weather at the time. Triumph moving and storage completely wrapped the (very heavy) recliner set in heavy plastic sheeting. 3 men moved sofa from house, across town, and up a set of stairs to an apartment in winter weather. The overall move was very quick and efficient without any surprises. I was very pleased with the experienced: it went very smoothly and exactly as I had hoped.

They were on time, assessed the difficulties which might occur (the front steps are very steep, and moved the piano out quietly and efficiently.

Sal (the company owner), and his team of Fred and Sheldon, showed up the day after a big snow. On time. Communicated well. Moved items efficiently and with great care. Met me at the arrival location, and unpacked with similar efficiency and care. Honorably, cut the price a bit when the job was a bit smaller than anticipated (mostly returned in tip). Good guys, small company, deserve your consideration.

The fact that we hired Triumph Moving & Storage Inc for our initial move and then hired again for the follow-up move speaks to our satisfaction with their work. On both occasions they were prompt, professional, and careful with our possessions. Everything was moved without damage, on schedule, and on budget. Frankly, they made both moves quite easy.

They showed up in the time frame that was promised. The were very careful moving the piano around the corners of the house. The came up with a clever way of putting the piano in the van that showed they could think on their feet. The were very quick, but careful. Very polite and professional and easy to work with. I will recommend them to my friends!

Triumph moving and storage were great! From the quote from the office to the actual move they were prompt and professional. Chris and Fred showed up on time and took great care to get all my belongings moved safely. The price was fair and they worked hard to make the move as smoothly as possible. I would definitely use Triumph movers again should the need to move arise again.

I'm not often left at a loss for words, but this experience was one of those rare occasions. Sal Scafidi and his crew are simply astonishing. They moved an entire 2-story house full of furniture (2,400 sq feet), garage, and 6'x10' storage unit in a single day! Sal and his staff were polite, professional, careful, REALLY STRONG, good at geometry, and just plain nice guys. Their bid was tied for lowest of the 3 companies who bid the job. Sal's office manager, Becky, and Sal stayed in constant contact with us over the course of the 4 weeks between the date of the bid and the move day, cheerfully changed the date for us 3 times, and simply delighted us at every turn. Their slogan is ever so true - "We never knew we had so much stuff till we moved." Triumph moved all the stuff we'd accumulated in 20 years, worked a 10-hour day in 90+ degree heat, never complained once, sang to me, and they made it all look easy.

They arrived on time (3 men) and moved my belongs to my new address which was less than ten miles away. They were very careful with everything. I was moving from an older home with narrow doors and a very narrow staircase - but they did not seem to have any problems with the situation. Did the entire move in approximately 4 hours. They did move fast and I was glad that I had planned ahead of time where everything would be located in the new house. I have moved several times before and this was definitely the smoothest move I have experienced.

To say I was stressed and worried is an understatement. My husband and I were moving from a home of 28 years to another part of town. We were then going to spring my mom from assisted living and move her in with us. I made several phone calls to movers and received some not so great estimates. Then I called Sal with Triumph Moving and Storage. He gave me an incredible estimate for not just my move but for my elderly mom too. We moved June 26th. A multi man crew showed up earlier than we expected and went right to work. They were fast, efficient, professional and so hard working. The move was flawless. When we arrived at our destination Fred and Jimmy unloaded and set everything up exactly as I had hoped for. It was perfect. 3 days later Sal and the crew showed up at my moms. She had some delicate and fragile things that needed some extra TLC. Believe me they got it and then some. They had mom packed up and out in nothing flat. Her transition was smooth as silk. I will use no one else but Triumph in the future. They are all fabulous. Thanks Triumph.

Everything went well. Not a single item broke or was damaged. My husband gave Sal the check and his two crew members each a $ 50.00 tip for their outstanding job.
