Description of Work: Our hot water heater quit on us...we checked the breaker, tank etc...called roto-rooter cause it was the only plumbing service that had evening/weekend hours. Dan came out, assessed the problem and determined the tank and heater were shot...he replaced it with a new tank, fittings and insulation. He raised the tank off the floor, cleaned up after himself. He did a great job and was extremely professional. Nobody likes to pay a thousand bucks for an appliance, but Dan made the experience worth it.

Description of Work: After finding this company listed, I called about septic tank inspection and pumping. They informed me they did not do such work - so I wonder why they are listed at all.

Description of Work: Sewage line was broken between the front of the house and the street. First had to clear line, then ran camera down pipe to find location on breaks (2 places), then excavated and repair broken sewage line. They gave me a 3 hour window of when they would arrive, then called and let me know about 30 minutes before showing up (on time when promised). Their work is guaranteed from 5 years. They are a very professional company and cleaned up after themselves when done. If I have any further plumbing problems, I'll be calling them.

Description of Work: The technician replaced a broken connector piece holding two pipes together. The part only cost 15 dollars and I paid 100 for the service fee, but it was worth it given that my husband was deployed, we had a 3 month old baby in the house and it was late at night. The guy was very helpful and knowledgable. He was nice enough to take 50 off the usual service fee of 150 which was appreciated.

Description of Work: Called to set up an appointment. The plumber was going to be up 5-7 hours late. I was called one hour in advance of my appointment of the delay. However, it would be logical work ethic to send another plumber. I was only asked to wait the 6 hours or reschedule. It would also be considerate to ask how bad my situation is. ( in my case, extremely bad). Cassidy's Plumbing, was an amazing experience and will be saved in my contact list for future use and referrals.

Description of Work: Had the same problem a few years ago and another company took two days to do the same repair and many more hours. Call Root-Rooter this AM. I received a call 30 minutes before the service man came. He explained everything. We were informed before the water was cut off. The leak was 30 inches in the ground. Scott was the service man and I would recommend him to anyone. The problem was fixed and I received a senior discount. Thank you again!

Description of Work: The serviceman had to run a long snake through the kitchen sink to unclog it. The entire job lasted about 1 and 1/2 hour, largely due to the snake getting caught as he tried to retreat it. Very pleased with the serviceman, Disgusted with the increase in price everytime I call this company.

Description of Work: I had a clogged toilet and washer that were overflowing. I called Roto Rooter this morning and they were here in 30 minutes! Great for a Monday! The plumber came in, and discovered that the toilet was working ok. Evidently the clog had moved itself through but he stayed and we went through a cycle of draining in the washing machine. All flowed ok. When he was getting ready to leave, we asked him how much and he said "nothing!" He said he hadn't really performed a service but we should call Roto Rooter the next time we need someone. I certainly will! I did expect to be charged a service call but how nice they didn't feel it necessary. I will call them in the future for sure!

Description of Work: My tub leaked at all junctures and has been for some time. The closet valves finally gave out one evening and began to flow uncontrollably. It would have been nice to get a plumber out that night but none was available. They came the next day and fixed the closet valve. We were so happy with the professionalism, politeness, and the quality of work, we called to have the same technician come out the next business day to fix the rest of the plumbing - the faucets, the diverter valve, and the tub drain. It cost about as much as I expected. He fixed a lot of the stuff that was wrong with our plumbing from when we bought this place. He seemed to know better than the workers that patched things together before we moved in. The caulk job he did around the faucet handles is already cracked though. That's not entirely his fault. The tub surround that some bozo installed before we moved in is flimsy and moves a lot. I can't wait to see the water bill and how much less water we're using now that the drips and leaks are gone. I will definitely call Roto Rooter again next time I need plumbing done.

Description of Work: I had a stoppage in my sewer line. roots add grown through the pipes. My house was built in 1914. I had called about 4 different companies. they were the cheapest. they came out, dug out the old sewer pipes and put down new ones. it took about 3 days. they were very professional.
