Planet plumbing is an excellent company to work with. I had some drainage issues that was causing overflow into my house and Planet Plumbing came out right away and fixed the issue entirely. They're not expensive and are trustworthy. I would definitely work with Planet Plumbing again.

My experience with Planet Plumbing was second to none. The service was quick and efficient, and the employee had a great sense of humor and he was a genuine guy. I would highly recommend calling Planet Plumbing for your plumbing services.

It went very well. He stuck to his estimate. He was correct in his diagnosis. The price is fair.

I called Jack (owner of planet plumbing) at 8 am, he called me right back and had Todd out to my house just an hour later. Todd was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He found the problem, replaced the pipe in question and cleaned up afterwards. The price was very reasonable since they came out on a holiday and very quickly fixed my problem. I would recommend them to my friends and will use them again if needed. Very happy with the results.

Problem cleared , clean out uncovered and repaired . Evening before Christmas Eve , responded with call right away and on site in 20 minutes ! Technician Todd was progrssional , courteous and very thorough . Saved our Christmas ! Thank you !

It was outstanding, I tried fixing it myself he was able to come out and fix it in about 40 minutes.

I called Jack Reed with a request to install a garbage disposal. He asked a few questions and then instructed me how to re-set the the currently disabled appliance. No need for a new one! He was professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely call on Planet Plumbing in the future.

I called the dominion power home protection service program and within one hour I was contacted by Todd from planet plumbing. Although it was the day before Thanksgiving he told me that he would come out on Thanksgiving day between nine and 11 which was perfect. He called me around 1115 the next day and told me that he was running a little bit late because of an issue with the previous customer and I responded no problem. He showed up at about 1130 and was very courteous about being a little bit late. I told him it was no problem because I thought that he would not be able to show up in a holiday anyway he was very polite and knowledgeable right off of the bat. I describe my problem he nodded his head and went over to the area where I told him I saw water coming from the lawn. He gathered his tools and came back to the area and quickly located the city clean out line, which was buried underneath two years of dirt. Todd was very polite and conversational during the entire process. When he found the cleanout and remove the top he told me that actually the clog was on the city side of the line and that he would fix it for me even though it's technically a city problem. I was extremely relieved to find out that the issue was not a sewer line failure, but a simple clog. Within 10 minutes, he had the entire line cleared and he went to my residential cleaning out and verify that was clear as well. He told me that had I not have the protection program this would have been A $275 visit. After he was done he cleaned up the area, and painted the cover and replaced everything like he was never there. I would gladly use this company again to perform any of my plumbing needs. An extremely satisfied customer!!!

Excellent service, excellent response time. Knowing that this was critical, timely need, Jack had a crew on-site in a couple hours. They verified the problem then quickly went to work remedying it. Both plumbers were very professional and friendly. We will definitely use Planet Plumbing again and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

We have a contract with Dominion Power to repair our main sewer line. Within in an hour after calling Dominion, we got a call from Planet Plumbing to set an appointment. Nick, who was the technician who came out the next morning, was on time, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately for us, Nick wasn't able to fix our problem under the Dominion contract. Our house doesn't have an outside cleanout which is required under the contract (missed that in the terms and conditions). I think Nick went above and beyond trying to find a cleanout so the repair would be covered. We decided to have Nick go ahead with the repair anyway and he gave us a very reasonable price for what he did. He had to pull our toilet to snake our main line and when he was done, he left our bathroom looking better than when he arrived. We will definitely use Planet Plumbing again.

We live in a 1970s built ranch home in Virginia Beach. We have had various issues with the plumbing on one side of our house the last few years or more.The toilet was stopping up when we would run the shower or washing machine along with other problems. We have a monthly contract with Dominion that covers various plumbing issues inside and out when we call them with a problem they normally send one of the plumbers on their list. We had not been pleased until they sent out Planet Plumbing, some of the other companies were not always prompt and they always seemed to be a little confused as to what the problem actually was along with several other issues. Planet plumbing was able to communicate with Dominion letting them know a small amount of plumbing needed to be replaced to eliminate our issues so we could have proper draining without backup etc. The crew Nick and Blake came out and corrected the problem as they were doing the job they explained the process to make sure we were comfortable with everything that was being done. They worked straight through and when they were finished you could not even tell they had been here. With Dominions contract we have to have the same problem more than twice before they will normally approve what we had done. Mr. Reed along with Nick and Blake worked with us and made the issue a lot less stressful than what it could have been. They kept the job simple for us although with the old pipes cracking and leaking in a few places causing them to droop which was what was causing the waste to catch and backup I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the job went. My husband and I are all about good customer service and that is exactly what we received each and every time Nick, Blake and Todd came to our home. My husband Bill and I advised Mr. Reed and Nick that even if we decide not to use Dominion services in the future, we have now found a company we will call and recommend to our family, neighbors and friends and that is Planet Plumbing. The city of Norfolk requires an annual test for backflow device. You call the city - they give you 6 companies to choose from to get your backflow tested. I checked Angie's list and only found Planet so I called them yesterday on 4-9-13. Jack returned my call right away , and was able to come that afternoon if I was home. I had some errands to run, so we set it up for first call on 4-10. On 4-10, Jack called to tell me they were on their way. They arrived at 9 and set to work. Very nice, and very professional. I will use them in the future for any plumbing needs I have.

I was delighted with the can-do attitude and the assurances from Planet Plumbing that they would replace my plumbing as soon as possible. I was mildly surprised when I received their invoice that it was lower than I had anticipated.

Planet Plumbing installed a 74 gallon water heater (which was manufactured in 1996) in our condo in 2003. My husband and I moved into the condo in 2005, and the previous owner left the paperwork from the water heater installation which came with a 5-year warranty. On occasion we noticed low water pressure out of some of our faucets. Through Internet research, we postulated that the dip tube in the water heater had degraded, and pieces of it were clogging our faucets. Knowing this was likely the problem, we called Planet Plumbing to confirm our diagnosis. When making this appointment, the man said that whoever installed that water heater should not have installed one with the old type of dip tube because it was well known by 2003 that these were problematic. I informed him that HE had installed it. Instead of replacing the heater for a discounted price, he told us a new one would be $2400.00. We paid $68.00 for the diagnosis and found a company who replaced it for $1800.00.

Dylan did a really good job. Everything was perfect. He was prompt and polite and did a great job. We had a pedestal sink installed before and the people had a hard time putting it in and Dylan did it with no problems. He is a young looking guy but he is very knowledgeable. He was neat and clean and cheaper than other companies I called. I almost don't want to share him he is such a great plumber.

Jack was very good to me, he was very trustworthy and his helper was equally nice. They removed all the old copper plumbing, it was pitting so we were losing water underneath the home which caused some flooding, and our water bill was very high. They finished all their work in only 2 days and they cleaned up the area really nicely.

They were very trustworthy and they came out when they said they would. I had recommended them to others. They did not leave any mess in my home for us to clean up. The work they did was very satisfactory.

In the need of plumbing tasks, I always get a hold of this outfit. The work done in the bathroom was up to standards and done in the time I asked. They have a full store of every fitting and value a person could need, so theres never a delay in waiting for a part or something. It has been family owned for years and well respected by me as a loyal customer.
