Michael Mace did a FANTASTIC job completely removing and replacing my old Craftsman (circa 1999) garage door and mechanics with a new Liftmaster unit and high efficiency door. My new garage door is whisper quiet and works like a CHAMP! Thank you Michael for taking the time to explain what was expected as well as completing such a big installation in less than 6hours. From the quote to the install to actually enjoying our new door and opener everything went extremely well. We wanted a specific color garage door which took three weeks to arrive as scheduled. Color was exactly as advertised. Install was on time and perfectly executed. All old pieces and parts was removed. I could go on and on. I highly recommend.

Mike has helped me keep my old garage door opener working in the past and I appreciated his help and fast response time. When it came time to give up on the old opener, he gave me options on whether I wanted to buy one and have him install it or he could provide one and the installation. I let him provide a Lift Master and it is much better quality than the one that I had before. The installation didn't take long and it works like a charm.

From the beginning, he was very helpful. I had found some garage doors online for a better deal, and he called and verified the details for me, and helped me know what specs to order to ensure I did the right things when ordering. He helped me feel very comfortable and clearly is an honest individual (He could have tried to steer me to buy from him). He told me I had found a better deal - which I appreciated. Once my doors arrived, we scheduled the appointment for a few days later. He arrived a late, but understandable given the snow, black ice, etc. He worked hard all day in the COLD temperatures and did a great job. He clearly takes pride in the work he does and it showed. He communicated along the way with any info or questions he had about how I wanted the job to go. He installed the new hardware, garage door openers, and helped us set up the codes for the doors, and the key pad outside. He did a demo of the door when he finished. He stayed late to get the job done and charged us exactly what he said he would. I gave him a 50.00 tip for his efforts. We noticed that when installing the light bulbs in one of the garage door openers, that a plastic piece on the bulb cover is best. i sent him a text and he responded that he will take a look and be by soon. I assume he will take care of this as its all under warranty. (if not I will update the review to indicate this). I am pleased! I have him saved in my phone as 'Garage Door Man' and would not call anyone else for service on my doors. You will not be disappointed with the price or service!

He called and said he would arrive an hour later due to a warranty call that morning. He arrived around 11 am as promised. He did an excellent job and was very professional. Being a Purchasing Agent by trade, I have dealt with many vendors good and bad and I was extremely impressed by him and his work ethic. I also referred my neighbor to him today.

I reached out to three separate companies. One of which referred me to Mace Garage Doors since they were located too far away. Mike provided the first quote and all others that followed were the exact same vendor...but a much higher price. The others arrived in fancy trucks and said their price was higher due to the warranty. (My take...it's the same garage door...and someone has to pay for the overhead of those fancy trucks.) Mace Garage Door service is provided by a and quot;one man showand quot; and you know what you are getting. Mike delivers...fair price and great service.

Arrived within an hour of our call, completed the work perfectly.

He was here for three hours to complete the work. He installed a new opener on one door and reinforced our other door. He kept to his quote even though he had to do more work than originally estimated. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned up well. He stands by his work and was willing to come back out if there were any problems. I would recommend him to anyone.
