I felt the cost was a little high but I was very pleased with the quality of work that was provided. The work was performed in timely manner and as scheduled.

it was absolutely amazing -- they were on time or early, had the most fair prices by far, incredibly professional, got the job done efficiently and with great quality -- will definitely be our go to electrician for our whole time in norfolk!!

As I was preparing to head to work, I was going to grab some yogurt and fruit from the fridge in the garage. When I opened it I found it off. Having encountered this before, I checked and reset the GFCI breaker on the outlet across the garage. Everything came on but about 10 seconds later it tripped again. I tried it several times with everything unplugged and individual items and it tripped no matter what. I went on Angies List looking for someone with good ratings and who was licenses. I called a couple of companies but didn't really have much time to deal with this so I called Hart Electric back again. They had quoted me a $90 /hour cost which I thought was high but he told me based on my description, the total cost should not be much more (thank goodness, I thought). They also said they could come by the same day at 2pm and so save what was in my refridgerator. I was pleased they could come out the same day, but also had to work so I asked what was the latest they could come and Kingsley said 3:30. When I returned from work they were there on my heels about 15 minutes early. He was very thorough checking all the switch plates and checking the individual devices to try to verify if one of them was the problem, replaced the GFCI switch and an external outlet. I was very pleased with the work provided and would use and recommend them.

The owner is very nice, clean cut and responsive. For the kitchen job their price came in over the estimate but that was more of a result of the fixtures we had picked out then their work. We did not pick out standard lights and that made for a more expensive install.

He did large amounts of work in our previous house and then we moved again. He rehung some chandeliers and did some work in the bathroom. He completely wired the garage for my husband. There is a hell a lot of equipment. He has done a lot of work for us in the last 4 months. He comes in and provides estimates for the jobs. I like him because he shows up and he is on time. He is very personable. He seems to know what he is doing; everything is fine. He was very cool about the whole thing. He came earlier but it was down his normal schedule. I will use this company in the future.

My real estate agent recommended this company (although I got quotes from several other companies as well). They were punctual and professional and Kinglsey Hart was friendly and explained everything. While they were under my house my doorbell stopped working (not sure if this was due to a bad connection to begin with or someone accidentally stepped on a wire while they were under my house) but they reconnected it before they left at no extra charge. The only thing I didn't like was that the electric panel was labeled kind of vaguely, which makes it a little difficult to know what breakers are being turned off/on. All in all, a very good experience and I would use them again.

I purchased my own fan but he installed it for me. He was able to get it done in a timely manner. I have used him before and I know that he is only a phone call away. He is a very friendly guy to have around to have around. He did a nice job and didn't make any scuffs on my wall at all.
