I would not recommend this company to my enemy. The worst customer service I’ve ever had. The office manager Karen was Never in the office and she was a” Single point of failure”. I have reached out to this company since July 19 (and as of this day August 19 ,still nothing.) They Are the only ones who ever worked on my unit and it is missing a part. They refuse to contact me. I asked to speak to the owner several times and I have been told the end all to be all is Karen. Please do not waste your money with this company.

I called the issue in to my Warranty Company on a Friday. They had the part shipped and arrived that following Tuesday. I called that Wed to check on the part, Cutting Edge said they didn't receive it. I called back on Friday, same answer. The following week I called my warranty company and passed on the info. Within 5 mins my warranty company called me back stating the part had been there as promised since the previous Tuesday and this company missed the email...With that being said, this company wouldn't go pick up the part bc the part was too far away, we had to wait another 2 weeks for them to get the part within the distance they wanted before they would get the part and come install it. My tenant went 3.5 weeks wo A/C in the dead of summer. I didn't get any sort of apology, no discount, nothing. This was the 3rd time they had been to my property, the latest was less than a month prior to that. They kept saying it was a slow leak but finally when it broke indefinitely I had to have the entire air handler replaced. They will not be used again for my property.

Our AC went out Monday, August 15th. I phoned in a service call to our warranty on Tuesday August 16th. Cutting Edge was not available for an appointment until August 18th, two days later. We had the unit turned off, in order to prevent it "freezing up" the day it went awry. Gene from Cutting Edge put in a claim to be denied by our warranty, stating this was a pre exisitng condition due to the dry drip pan at the main unit in the attic. The average temp for the week had been high 90's low 100's, the unit had been off for three days... of course the drip pan was dry! We have lived in this home for nearly three weeks, had plenty of guests and all of whom will agree the AC unit worked until August 15th. We purchased our home July 29th, 2016. Never receiving a contact from the Warranty co. I called our own AC repair. While they were here, I called AHS to let them know the AC was out. They informed they would not cover this company as they are not contracted by them. Fine, I asked them to leave and paid our service fee. We were also denied because Gene's diagnosis was that someone else had already tried to repair the unit and had cut off electricity. Simply not true. Beware of this company and American Home Shield. They are scamming the system.

Smooth and efficient. Gene discussed the failed part, similar issues observed in a number of other recent local repairs. Quickly replaced the part and checked the status of the unit which needed 1.5 lbs of R410A. He also took the time to repair minor issue with my downstairs unit (fan blade rubbing the blade guard).

Previous owner of my house had Cutting Edge come out and do a system inspection on the a/c and gas furnace prior to closing on the house. They wrote "found unit to be in good working order". Fast forward to the day I close on the house...the gas company Red Tags my furnace and when I call another company out to service it, they have to condemn the unit. Gene at Cutting Edge Total Comfort missed a cracked heat exchanger, a failed fan limit switch and missed a failed igniter. They put thermal putty over the scorch marks inside the unit and reported to the seller that everything was "in good working order".

We would love a chance to talk to you about this. We replaced the heat exchanger in 2013. The only time we have that we serviced this unit this year is listed below. And it was for the A/C in the back bedroom. When we do an inspection we write up an inspection sheet. Description of Work: They were called out by my home warranty company. They came out and looked at RAC, but did not perform many tests. Did not even let us know any findings. Never contact her warranty company. We had to contact them so they can contact the warranty company to find out if there's coverage. Totally unprofessional. Asked for a repair estimate, but never got one. They never come to this contact. Do not use.

The warranty company denied this customers claim . This is a water to air unit and there was no water going to the unit which caused it to burn the compressor up. The warranty company calls the customer for denials.

On his first visit, Gene provided good advice on some site preparation/renovation that was required prior to the actual boiler replacement. Once I had that work completed, we scheduled a day for the replacement. A follow-up visit was required to correct a couple of minor discrepancies - all three times he arrived as promised, and the work was completed to my satisfaction within a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend Cutting Edge for this type of work! 757-818-9563.

They are dependable and timely. We also like them for annual maintenance. (Used them last year for an annual maintenance on heating system in October and need a new annual maintenance for the AC this year.

It went very well over all.
Description of Work: My gas heating system wasn't working to it's fullest capasity and they came and clean out the water line to water heater and looked over the whole system. Gene was polite as was his assistant. I'm hoping that they performed the service well.
