I am very satisfied with Joy''s cleaning services, found her right here on Angie's list! Quick and efficient, always punctual, never misses an appointment, flexible when my schedule needs an adjustment, and she does a good job (and my older home is both large and a dust-magnet). She is an independent businesswoman and I have found her to be very professional in every way. I trust her in my home and don't believe the comments by another reviewer about 'missing jewelry' are fair or accurate. Joy is careful, and has never broken or damaged anything or left the door open for my indoor cat to escape (more than I can say for some previous cleaning services). I think she is a reliable and trustworthy person. She does all the work herself, which I like as I don't want 'crews' of people I don't know know and who vary from appointment to appointment. Joy had an assistant previously, Crystal, who was very good also, but left the business to earn higher wages, not because of any problems. I feel fortunate to have Joy cleaning my home and I am happy to recommend her services to others.

She always arrives on time and ready to work - no chit chatting on the cell. She goes through my house like a buz saw and gets it done fast and CLEAN. Bathrooms shine, as do the floors. I don't need to go behind her to do things she missed. She doesn't miss.

Her regular cleaning day was every other Friday. On Thursday night, the day before Good Friday, she called to say that the airline had rescheduled and she had to leave early the next day. I had family coming for the Easter weekend and a formal dinner planned. The excuse was lame and she lied. If you hire her (and I strongly suggest you don't), hide all of your valuables and credit cards. She cannot be trusted!

Joy Bishop and her helper arrived on schedule and immediately began cleaning. They were very detailed in their work and did an excellent job. Ms Bishop left nothing untouched the place was emmaculate when completed. I highly recommend contracting with her for cleaning services.

I called Joy Bishop a little over two weeks ago and asked if she would come to my home and give me an estimate for general housecleaning (three bedrooms, three bathrooms, den/office, kitchen, living room and dining room). She was on time, professional and gave me three estimates (weekly, every other and monthly), and told me there would be a one time $25.00 service fee due at the time of the first cleaning. Joy returned to my home the following day and did an ourstanding job ... not just the usual vacuuming and dusting. She also dusted the window and door frames, spit shined the bathrooms and kitchen (including the microwave and stove) and made the bedrooms, living room and dining room look lovely. Today, Joy cleaned for us again. Repeat performance. I am very happy to have found such a nice, reliable and professional person to help me out, and highly recommend her. Oh, and if she's going to be a minute or two late, she calls. In today's society, that's a rarity.

My first time commenting on here so I promise to go in order next time!!! Services performed: Bathrooms (2) cleaned and polished. Kitchen-Floor scrubbed, stove/oven cleaned, all surfaces wiped down. Living room-dusted,vacuumed, and all wood tabletops polished. Bedrooms(2)-dusted and vacuumed.
