+ 1 moreFrom start to finish, the job went as described to us in the proposal. There were no hidden fees or costs and even when we changed to upgrades on some items, John was very accomodating. Great effort was made to cordon off the rest of our living space and even with sheet rock sanding and spraying of primer, we did not have dust in the rest of our living spaces. All in all, it was a good experience and we intend to have more remodeling done downstairs and will call upon Baker to do the work.
Description of Work: John built a second floor for us. We added about 600 square feet. Master suite with 9 x 9 walk in closet and bath. We have been extremely pleased with the addition and with his work ethic. Despite a Nor' easter and 2 snow storms during the construction period, the work was completed on time and the inspections went smoothly. In addition to building the addition we had the entire house vinyl sided and wrapped. It is a completely different house and we love the results.

+ 1 moreIt went smooth. They were on time and, as always, the job is exactly as we requested We are very pleased with the results and have other projects in mind. We will be calling him again.
Description of Work: We had a porch built with roof and added gutters to unattached double car garage. Baker had built an upstairs floor addition to our house in 2010. We were pleased with the results and called him back to do the work on the garage for us. The house and garage were originally built in the early 1960's. The garage had old metal canopies over entry door and car entry door. We had a new set of steps and a roof ( larger than original) to the side entry way and gutters added to the garage. Mr. Baker completed the work on time. As with earlier work he had done for us, the neighbors compliment us regularly.

replacement windows
+ -1 moreCame out same day when called for quote. Had old drafty window replaced with in a week and on a Sat so I didn't have to miss day of work. The window had to be special ordered and the contractor was here for the delivery. He was here promptly at appointment time and worked degilantly to have finished same day. The contractor made sure I completely satisfied with work done before any payement was accepted for services, Contractor was clean and professional.
Description of Work: Replaced 10ft picture window with one double hung window on each side. Wrapped in white metal.
