ADT Security Services

I have used this company for 4 years. When I moved into the home, it had an ADT system, so I opted to use their service. Just recently, I chose to not continue with their service as another company offered a better package of covering for fire and unwanted entry. I liked ADT as they are a secure, national company. Overall, I was pleased with the price and their telephone customer service.

They are a very professional operation. They are prompt when the system has problems and when an occasional mis-alarm occurs they are prompt in answering and solving the problem.

Brandon Walker was our service rep. He was very personable, responded to us quickly AND then came back and checked to see how everything worked!

We purchased this system about two years ago and have been using them every since. They do a nice job of explaining our systems if I have any questions. Their response time is very quick and I think their service is really good.

They do a great job keeping us up to date and informed. We bought the system from them and they installed it. We were doing some work in the house, which triggered our smoke alarm, and they were very quick to call us and see that all was well. We can contact them anytime and they are much better than our last home security providers were.

I feel the pricing is reasonable and the system has never defaulted or anything. I would say that they are worth it.

We pay $70.00 a month for the service.

He did a good job installing the system, and when he finished he explained things to me. He also gave me a DVD to watch, that demonstrates the system and explains everything so you fully understand it. He was very professional and showed up on time.

Besides that one incident, I have had no other troubles with my system or the actual company. In my eyes, I think they provide pretty good service at a reasonable price. I see no reason to ever change companies at all.

I called ADT because there was a problem with the alarm system. They made an appointment for a service call and it was scheduled in a timely manner. The technician was on time and very professional. He fixed the problem quickly and tested the operation of it. They only charged me $25 for the service call and the rest was still under warranty.

I found their customer service to be not very professional. They were supposed to reimburse me some money for their security system being down. At first, I was looking forward to hiring Brinks. I had heard many good things about them. I had my appointment set and an estimate already in the working. I was ready to go with the installation. When arriving at my home, they were very sloppy and in the process of installing the system, we got to talking about the pricing. Well, I almost threw the man out of my home literally. They wanted me to pay 225 for the installation plus wanted me to sign a 4 year commitment at $40 a month. They had got to be crazy. I was not about to pay that for one little system. I did end up having to pay $100 for the time it took to install what they had gotten to. Other than that, I have no dealings with them what so ever and I never will again.
