ACME Animal Removal & Bee Control Services

I placed a frantic call on a Saturday and they came out Monday morning. They were punctual, professional and explained every step along the way. They came out over several weeks to trap the squirrels, remove them from the area, and seal up all the entrances to the attic to prevent them from coming back.

It was quick and painless, taking only about 20 minutes to do the job. Everything was exceptionally professional, from the phone call to make the appointment, to the careful and thorough removal of the yellow jacket nest. ACME has a 30 day guarantee, should the yellow jackets return ACME will treat again at no charge. The cost was certainly not minimal, but knowing one gets what one pays for was enough for me. I would recommend this company anytime, and they do give a 10% discount for members of Angie's List.

They scheduled quickly. When they came out they sighted other nests that we had on the property. There also spotted ground bees. They removed the nests and treated for the ground bees. They are very thorough. Excellent experience. He is quick, efficient, and knowledgeable.They scheduled around the weather.

About 2:30am I was awakened by loud noises in my kitchen. After investigating I found an opossum had apparently sneaked in my back door earlier in the evening and was now eating my cats dry food. It then hid under the microwave stand. I patiently babysat the opossum while I researched online who to call, (at 3am there aren't many options). At 7am I called ACME, got a recording, left a detailed message, and started searching for other options. About 15 minutes later Bryan called back After I explained the situation he said he would send Billy out that morning to take care of it. The cost would be at least $149.00 and maybe more depending on what they had to do. I was so happy to see their truck pull up about 8:10am with Billy and another tech inside. They came in, pulled the opossum out by its tail, and put it in a cage in their truck. The whole process took no longer than 10 minutes. What a relief it was gone! Billy said the charge would only be the $149 since I was a repeat customer. They had removed 4 wasps nests for me the previous year. Billy does an excellent job as does which ever tech he brings with him. Their prices do seem a little high but for this particular circumstance was worth every penny to me.

My husband and dog were stung several times two weeks ago, and we traced the hornets to a large potted plant on the deck. We tried repeatedly to eliminate them with a spray and nothing worked. When a swarm attacked my son we called ACME to help. From the moment Beth answered my call, I was impressed with the company's professionalism and courtesy. Beth listened to the details, then had Billy, who was in the field, call me to set an appointment. Billy and Daron arrived within the hour! First they observed the hornet activity, then explained to me what they would do, and the very reasonable cost. They donned their bee suits and went to work: they bagged the plant, sprayed the attacking swarm, removed the plant and took it away. I was so impressed with their professional attitudes, their kindness and concern, and their knowledge and training. This is a great company that has it all together. They will be coming back in three days to check that all the hornets are gone - which we think they are - and to insure they have not set up camp somewhere else in the yard. I know the yellow jacket problem is all around the area this fall - do not hesitate to call ACME!

Billy and his associate came over to take a look. They asked permission before they started turning up dirt. They also looked around the general area to make sure there was nothing else to worry about. Luckily, I seemed to have just a few random bees crawling around, no nest or anything. Everyone I spoke to at ACME were super professional and friendly I wouldn't think twice about calling them if I had another issue or concern. Highly recommend.

We bought a big deal for this service. They are really nice and do a good job. We worked with them for about three months. By the time they caught it, it had tripled in size. We thought we had a whole lot of rats, but it was just one. We were so impressed with the whole team. The owner came out as did the men who came weekly to check on us and leave different things. They were all very polite and very professional. They were nice, happy people.

No call, no show. Update: After my review was posted Acme did indeed offer to perform the inspection at no cost, but unfortunately at that point a tech from another company was already en route. I did want to acknowledge their effort to address the earlier mistake.

It took to trips but because of the 30 day warranty I only had to pay once. The bees are gone and I can breathe a sigh of relief when my husband is doing yard work in that area of our yard. I would recommend Acme to anyone with a pest problem.

My problem was three cats finding their way under our house, living in the crawl space, and trashing it. ACME Animal Control assessed the situation and gave me a few options. I went with the option to get rid of the animals, clean up the crawl space and fix the damage, and prevent any animals from getting into the crawl space again. It took a while, but I was able to see the before and after pictures of the crawl space and damage. There was a lot of damage and the crawl space was a mess. They did a very good job of cleaning up the crawl space and repairing the damage. ACME Animal Control was punctual and very courteous. I enjoyed talking to them and they seemed to know their business.

They were very prompt in responding to my call. Told me what to expect and then gave the rodents time to get out. They were careful where they placed the bait as I have both a dog and cat. They came back and sealed all openings but one, which was not their fault as it was covered up by an old electrical panel. When I called them about it, they came right out and sealed that one too. They were nice and easy to work with. If I need this type of service in the future (there are raccoons in my neighborhood, I'll be sure to call ACME. :)

I thought the employees were polite. On time. Answered all my questions (and I had a lot). I needed some work done for "guinea pigs" in my attic. They came back out in the 10 days they quoted me. I think the price is set too high for option three. I am dissatisfied that there was no clean up of fecal matter in my attic.

I knew I had a squirrel problem for about a year, but had tried to fix the problem myself with no success. When researching companies to come out and provide services, I initially searched under pest control services but was not confident they would fit my needs. I finally searched for animal removal services and found ACME was a highly rated service provider. ACME sent Paul out a couple of days after I called to evaluate and confirm my suspicions. He initially placed a no-kill trap on the roof in the area above the damaged soffit where the squirrel was entering the attic. After about a week, he installed a different type of no-kill trap directly over the damaged soffit. Within a day, the squirrel had been captured and was being relocated. The next step was to stuff the hole with newspaper to see if any other animals were accessing the attic. After about a week of no activity, Paul returned to cover the access points with fine steel mesh (which he assured me no squirrel could chew through), and installed a panel to conceal the damaged area. I felt the prices quoted for the repairs were a bit high, but not excessive. Paul conducted a thorough assessment of the roof and attic, and identified possible entrance and exit points (other than the obvious hole in the soffit). He was very friendly and professional, and explained the process and answered any questions I had. I Haven't had any problems since they completed the removal and repairs. I would recommend ACME to anyone that needs animal removal services.

We have a large Pampas Grass plant next to our mail box in our front yard. We noticed an infestation of the stinging bugs after one of our grand children (and my wife) were stung while the kids were visiting us over a recent weekend. I went to the local hardware store and bought a can of hornet jet spray that I thought would do the job. But it wasn't enough; they were still there the next day. So I got some more spray and did it again a second day with a "foaming" spray. But the bugs came back again. And then I did it a third day with both one of those "jet" spray cans followed by a foaming spray. But still no success--after several hours we could see that the little buggers were still there. So, I decided to call in reinforcements. We found "ACME" on Angie's List and gave them a call. It turned out they had a crew in the area and they came the same day. In addition to animals, they are experts on bees, wasps, and similar stinging bugs of all kinds. It's a family business, and very professional. Billy, one of the owning family members, got dressed in a protective "bee" suit and dug out the nest with a shovel, while his partner was knocking down the swarming insects with some spray. I watched from a distance, glad it wasn't me trying to do the job. When they were done they showed our grandson the remains of the nest. Our grandson took pictures to take to school. It was quite an adventure and we were glad to have such a great crew on our side. I will definitely call these guys again any time I have an animal or bug problem.

We had two squirrels living in our attic.... the technician tried to trap them and then noted that they had built a nest. He was very attentive in hearing the young squirrels in our eave.... He also patched up the hole that the squirrels made getting back into.out of the house .

The response of the company was very good. The technicians were professional and polite. However, I am giving the company a B rating as it took two days with different technicians to actually locate and remove the animal. On the second day, the supervisor came out and was successful in locating the source of the smell.

We called them at 5:30pm on Tuesday (their hours list 9-5) requesting they come as soon as possible as we feared we had hornets nesting in our front yard. A women took our call and said someone would be at our house sometime the next morning; they would call 20-30 minutes prior to arrival. Brian called around 11am and arrived 10 minutes later. He quickly assessed the situation and treated the house within 15 minutes. We did not have hornets, but we did have 3 wasp's nest at 3 different locations (under the eaves). Excellent response time, easy to work with, fair pricing.

We had multiple wasps nests in our attic and back yard. They came out to inspect our property within a week of first contact. They provided and estimate, and that same day, they cleared out all three nests. When a couple stragglers started to come back about 3 weeks later, they returned, and retreated with no additional cost. Since these treatments, we have had no wasp problems.

We have had no squirrels in the attic since Acme completed their work. They followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was okay and reiterated that their work is guaranteed, and to call them if the problem with the squirrels returns.

Brian Fister was easy to reach, came to our home promptly. Very professional & knowledgeable approach. Communicated plan clearly. Returned for repeat inspections, secondary treatments, as planned. Successful outcome was timely.

I had to call several times to get anyone to come out. I was rescheduled a few times. I am not sure if I overpaid or not, but I don't like that you either pay $99 if they find nothing, or $250 to remove whatever you need. Basically, its $99 for an estimate if you don't use their service. Just seemed like came up with a number on the spot. He did remove the bird and cover the vent hole.

We had squirrels running around in the attic. Brian came out, assessed our options quickly, efficiently and with a comparable quote. In no time, he had humane traps set and the little critters were moved. The grating he put in to cover the vents is just what we wanted; even trimmed a tree that made it a little too easy for squirrels to jump onto the roof. Great work!
