Exchanged Emails And Was set to Sign a Contract to Replace part of Our Driveway. Sent Them an Email Agreeing to One of The Two Days That They Had Proposed. Never Heard Back From Them Despite Numerous Emails And Voicemail Messages.

We had a contract with them on 3/9/16. They were to start in June but with several excuses it was not done until August. About 7-8 months later we started to get cracks and crater like holes in the driveway. We did what they told us to do by watering the driveway morning and night, staying off the concrete, and not using salt products. We were also told not to pressure wash it, but that is what they did the next day. I questioned them and all they said was they were cleaning up. We talked to another contractor who told us they should have sprayed it with a sealant to prevent that from happening and they did not. We sent several emails along with pictures, text messages to them. We got no reply so we sent three certified letters to them. Two of them were not accepted and were sent back. I also sent two regular mail letters that were also sent back. I also contacted the BBB and they told me they could not do anything because they were accredited to the BBB. The BBB did tell me to contact the Department of Professional Occupational Regulation. Which I did but have not heard anything from them. Since then, we have sent several text messages, emails with pictures to them and have gotten nothing but excuses when we do get in touch with them. To this day we have not gotten any answers to our calls or text messages. I was told this was our next step to hoping this issue could be resolved. All we want is for them to correct the problems and fix it right. Our next step will be going to court and I really hope we can resolve this issue without doing that. In February I gave them almost $13,000 to have order and install a pergola, and to replace my old patio. They poured the patio in February but hasn't come back out to finish the job, the concrete need to be stained and sealed but I can't even get them to come back out to my house! I took it upon myself and called the company the pergola was supposed to be ordered from and a customer representative told me that Mr. Hogarth called and got the estimate in January but he didn't call back and place the order, he himself has been trying to get in contact with Mr. Hogarth with no luck!. I gave him a check for $5800 for the pergola in February. At this point I've requested a full refund on the pergola. I've asked them on numerous occasions when would someone be out to finish my backyard, my daughter is graduating from college in two weeks and I'm suppose to be hosting a BBQ. As of today I still haven't received a response from the owner Kris Hogarth or Lisa Ballard. On a occasion that is suppose to be joyous and a time for celebration is now shadowed by total regret and a constant headache. I just want my money back!

I emailed Accent on 3 different occasions with no response. Then, I ran across their ad on CL and called them. The female that answered the phone made no apologies or excuses about why no one returned my email. She set me up with someone named Jesus. Jesus came out and I could not understand a word he said, his English was very, very bad. He took measurements and said he would email me the estimate that afternoon, which I didn't get. I think I was able to make out that I need to order a minimum of concrete and the sidewalk job I was requesting would not be enough to cover the minimum, so I would have to pay an additional $800. Again, his English was terrible, so I may be way off on this. I was willing to give them a chance, but not anymore.

I contacted Kris on Monday, May 16th and we set up an appointment for a patio estimate on that Wednesday. Kris even chose the time that was best for him since my schedule was entirely open that day. However, an hour before the appointment, he called me saying that he would be late because he had to see about another job but he would call me when he was on his way. 3 hours after our scheduled appointment, I called him to see if he was going to show and he hung up on me and then when I tried to call him back, all I kept getting was his voicemail. I left him a message but he never showed up at my house for the estimate nor has he returned my phone calls. He must not want new buisness very badly...
