+ -1 moreSo, the first one to come and inspect and give an estimate was a different company; if we hadn’t had Prince William Plumbing out here after that, this other company might have scammed us out of many thousands of dollars by replacing our main service line. Prince William Plumbing did a much more thorough investigation and discovered that the problem was a connection to the sprinkler system and not the main line. They saved us so much money, while also being incredibly professional. Even the techs that came out to do the work were awesome. Truly great people at this company.

The work was done on time as promised within 48h. The communication was seamless. Mind you that while I was shopping around for a plumbing company, another company was not even willing to deal with me once he learned I lived out of country. + -1 moreI had my kitchen renovated in Jan 2016 and Prince William Plumbing did the plumbing work which was fine. In hooking up the new sink they installed a new garbage disposal as well. In Feb 2017, I noticed that there was a small leek coming from something under the sink. I was very disappointed. I called on a Friday (sent pictures from my phone to the office) and John (the owner) came out early Monday morning. He discovered that it was the garbage disposal that was dripping. I believe Prince William Plumbing warrants work for a year but since it had been 13 months, John replaced the garbage disposal (which was warranted for 5 years) and did not charge me for his time. He was prompt in fixing the problem. I believe the two men I have worked with at different times gave me respect as a woman and was willing to take the time to educate me on the course of action.

+ 1 moreI worked with Prince William Plumbing to have the leak in our main water line on our front yard repaired. They are honest, affordable, reliable, punctual and professional. We have been completely satisfied with our decision. John came to our house the same day I called in and gave us a quote. Instead of trying to convince us replacing the whole water line, he said a repair should be enough. He offered us a 5 year warranty. Most important of all, his price was much more affordable than others. It was almost too good to be true. He honored 5% Angie’s List customer coupon on the top of that. John has done the repair with his assistant. They answered all my questions patiently. They cleaned up the area nicely after the job is done. John is very experienced. He is a long time resident of Nokesville, a nice town in Prince William county. You get the friendly treatment of a small town neighbor in city when you work with John. He is a great family man with six kids. We will definitely call him again with our plumbing needs. Thanks to Angie’s List, I have finally found a reliable and affordable plumber.

+ 1 morePrince William Plumbers came out at the assigned time and corrected the problem. This was the first plumber who actually snaked the line all the way to the street, the previous times they did not. Very polite and professional. I'd definitely use them again.
Description of Work: My sewer line had clogged and was getting swage backing into my basement shower. I had this problem a couple times before.

Description of Work: Replaced the broken main water shut-off gate valve with a ball valve -- which required shutting off the water at the street. So, the main water shut-off broke while I was replacing the whole house filters. There's nothing between that valve and the street. I talked to Susie on the phone and she was delightful and a pleasure to chat with. I sent an email with a picture and what I wanted to have done. They got back to me in less than 30 minutes with a quote that was spot on, and an appointment for the afternoon. John showed up at the beginning of the service window. In addition to the valve replacement, I was eager to cut the entire, increasingly decrepit, whole house filter "system" out of the loop. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when John actually offered to do it without charging me. What!?! Yup, seriously. Now that's what I'm talkin 'bout. The total cost was lower than I had expected. John was very friendly, answered every question, and proffered suggestions without an agenda. I really like that. Until I met John, I was missing a plumber from that very small cadre of professionals that I would call without hesitation.

The owner that answered was very friendly and was able to make an appointment for the next day. John came out on time and was able to diagnose and fix the problem in a short period of time. The work was done very quickly and it was clean. However, there is still a leak and I don't think that it is related to their repair. I brought it to their attention.
