He was very punctual, answer questions and schedule to meet my time availability.

Tim Johnson provided the Service and called to inform us that he would be arriving early. He informed us on what he would be doing. He took pictures of the areas that would need further work, and explained in detail, the areas he did some light repairs. He also sent us an estimate for the areas that We would need some extensive effort. Tim did a wonderful job, his Attitude, Experience and Service has ensured us that will will use them again.Thank You Paul and Peg Yates

We bought a maintenance package for roof repair as we thought that is all we would need, but were told we need a new roof. We have received a second opinion stating the same thing, so what they said was true but I don't feel I should have paid 150 for an estimate. The second one I received was free and came with a professional report. Very disappointed in my experience buying an Angie's list coupon, probably won't do that again as we are not covered if something more is needed to be done and we wasted our money.

I purchased a roof inspection package from Lakewood and was pleased with the experience. The appointment was scheduled pretty quickly and they showed up on time to perform the work. The appointment was quick and we were satisfied with the way it was handled, the information we received, and the results. The provider went out of his way to accommodate our needs.

They were very prompt and professional. While they were here I asked him to look at a home improvement issue and they worked up a proposal for that. He was very pleasant to work with.

We worked with John Stageberg and Tim Johnson. They were professional and very creative. They put a lot of time into creating a space for our adult daughter, who has disabilities and is in a wheelchair. They expanded and totally remodeled the bathroom, expanded the bedroom, added a study as a separate room, added a wet bar, lowered all the light switches, widened the doors, re-worked plumbing and electrical, and more. Tim installed two pocket doors (to gain more space in the room), and these are very effective. During the project, there were a couple of times when we wanted a change in design. Tim was amazingly pleasant and service oriented throughout this process, even though it meant tearing out some of his just-completed work. While Lakewood subcontracts a lot of the work, their subs are as wonderful as Tim and John are, and I felt like the subs were seamlessly integrated into the team. The stand-out characteristics of Lakewood for me were: - Creativity - always keeping the focus on making my daughter's life easier in her wheelchair-accessible spaces - from initial design to job completion. - Price - reasonably priced; we never felt over-charged. - Quality - All aspects of the finished work is outstanding - plumbing, electrical, walls/paint, fixtures, hardware, counters, glass, ceramic tile, etc. - Reliability - Tim and John, and their team members always arrived as previously scheduled and kept appointments. I definitely recommend Lakewood for any job, and I will use them again.

They performed a roof inspection and determined that we needed a few shingles replaced, which they performed for an (amazingly low) additional cost of $100.00. It is a great relief to know that my roof is sound again!!

Overall, the Roof Maintenance package was NOT worth the money. It was listed as a $350 value for $149. I have nothing to show for the $149. |Lakewood Home Builders conducted the inspection in the rain. Conducting the inspection in the rain did not allow Lakewood Home Builders to perform any minor maintenance. | |The deal included the following statements: |1) Inspection of your home's roof by a roofing specialist. |2) Minor roof repairs that can cause water infiltration (some restrictions apply), |3) Caulking exposed nail heads on flashing. |4) Maintenance of resealing around any unsealed pipe collars, exhaust fans/vents and chimney flashing |5) Any other areas that are in need of maintenance will be brought to the homeowner's attention and a professional plan of action presented. | |I asked for an estimate and was told Lakewood Builders was too busy and they would have to refer me to a competitor. |There were some minor areas that Lakewood Builders identified that should have been considered minor and taken care of with some minor chalking, etc. Conducting the inspection in the rain did not allow Lakewood Builders to perform any minor maintenance. | |I do NOT recommend this company. |

Called immediately, came out the next day, on time, very knowledgeable and professional. Told me he thought I had about 10 years left to my roof and appx how much to budget for down the road. Would use him again.

The job was scheduled quickly. All went as stated in the contract. I am very pleased with the outcome and will use this company in the future. I will also recommend Lakewood Home Builders to family and friends.

It went great! Received an email from Tim on Monday asking if a crew could come out and do the insulation job in the attic. They had a cancellation and could fit me in. The crew arrived for the insulation job, kept the area very clean, did the job and cleaned up after themselves. They were in and out in about an hour and a half. Very nice guys to work with. Looking forward to having the other jobs done by these folks.

This provider was extremely service-oriented, explained his plan and his tools, and was even a little early. He was great.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out very well. They were prompt, professional, and I would use them again.

This last service was a follow on to service provicded for the initial roof inspection purchased on Angie's list. During the follow on work, they replaced the roof over a bay window and made repairs to the sheathing.

I decided to take advantage of a discounted roof inspection from this company. What a waste! I received 2 worthless photos with no information or recommendations about the state of my roof. I repeatedly e-mailed requesting this. After 5 days I was finally told that the recommendation was to replace my roof. I requested an estimate and was told it was coming "ASAP". That was 14 days ago! Given their lack of communication skills I highly recommend avoiding them.

Lakewood Home Builders came for a roof inspection and to fix any minor issues on the roof like caulking seals, etc. He arrived on time, was extremely professional and even pointed out an issue on my neighbors roof so that we could alert them. He also tried to give it a minor repair with some caulk to at least hold it for a little while. I think they went above and beyond and I would recommend them to others.

After remodeling our kitchen previously, LHBI returned this summer to install the granite I couldn't afford before. We ahd an odd corner near the stove top that always bothered me. It could have been more counter space if the original builder had put more thought into the design. After several attempts with several cabinet builders, we could not get any of them to build a corner cabinet to fit our particular need. Tim (VP) built it himself on site. I watched as he slid it into place like a glove. A perfect fit. Then what I had waited for... The granite arrived. Wow, what a difference. I could not be happier.

Tim from Lakewood Home builders came out and did a full roof inspection and sent pictures of his findings. He fixed one small thing on our roof but overall said that our roof was in great condition. Tim was very knowledgeable and professional. I would call them again if I have any other roof concerns.

The owner was great -- helpful, on-time and professional. If we end up putting on a new roof, we would hire him.

It went well. It was pretty straightforward.

Responsive, friendly, accommodating and I thought the price was reasonable. I knew I needed a new roof but I felt reassured when I was advised that the "fixes" would hold out for some time. I was not pressured at all to purchase a new roof. Thank you !

We collaborated with Tim and John to get exactly what we wanted. We used Houzz.com as a resource and they were quite willing to take emails from the site to understand what we wanted, we have always been comfortable with having them in our home whether or not we are home. Not many contractors about which that comment can be made! Their attention to detail is impeccable although it may not happen as fast as you would like, their work is quite professional grade and always done right or they will not stop until you are happy. This is the second home and major project where we have used them. We always consider them first when needing home improvement or repair. We also used them when doing move out repairs and fix up on our previous home-- they were life savers during this time!

They we're clean and efficient and performed the attic insulation through a window in the bedroom where the attic access was located.

Tim Johnson has provided exemplary service to me and my husband. He has been on time for every scheduled visit; he has taken 'before' pictures showing us what the problems are, and 'after' pictures showing his solutions; he has explained carefully and in language we could understand what he proposed to do to solve our multiple problems; and he has sent qualified workmen, and come himself, to carry out the work. Moreover, I had many related questions dealing with other renovation issues, and he took the time to go with me from attic to basement to look at the issues I pointed out, explain what I didn't understand, and give professional advice covering options for me to consider for accomplishing the work that needs to be done. I find him to be completely honest - he 'tells it like it is' - and his explanations are understandable to the lay person - an especially important quality for homeowners who may not be conversant with construction terminology and processes. He does quality work, and he ensures that his workers do the same. I will definitely hire him and his company again in the future.

The roofing crew did a great job, working tirelessly to get the job done in a single day. Their clean up was nothing short of exceptional. I can?t believe what a great job they did, you can?t even tell they were here. We have a dog and the crew went over the lawn several times with the magnetic device to make sure there were no stray nails left on the ground! I really appreciate their thoroughness.
