 + 0 moreJohn Stewart was always on time or called first (THE most important thing to a homeowner). He was always polite, congenial, and trustworthy. John is a hard worker and the job was done in the time he promised. When he finished, it was a beautiful kitchen worthy of Southern Living magazine coverage! I highly recommend Stewart Home Service. If the Grading Scale had A+, John Stewart would get them all.
Description of Work: John Stewart was initially hired to paint(primer coat and two top coats of oil base paint) our kitchen cabinets white, inside and out. The adhesive paper on the shelves left a sticky residue that he had to sand down to raw wood and start over. He soaked and cleaned the existing hardware, he took all the extra steps (as an example, he put felt stops on all the corners, added wood strips to finish off rough places, remade a door for a broken spin around unit to give us extra storage), and he painted a ceiling in a bathroom.

 + -1 moreJohn did an excellent job of painting. He is a local guy from our area. He was very trusting and showed up to do his work everyday on time. He was very friendly and did an excellent job of cleaning up when he was finished. He also used good quality paint.
Description of Work: I had John paint my living room, den and bedroom and he also painted three extra ceilings.
