Description of Work: I have a very old oil fired boiler and the service was outstanding and the knowledge of the technician was exceptional. Their price was very reasonable for the work that was performed.

Description of Work: I purchased a new furnace the summer of 2008. That winter the furnace made a loud noise whenever it went on. I was told by the technician it was probably because the unit was new and it would clear up. Summer came and went - of course the furnace was not in use. The following winter the same noise occurred. I called to have it repaired. The technician said the unit was new and there was no charge. A few weeks later I received a bill for $45.00. I called to question the bill and I was told the warranty was expired and therefore I had to pay the $45.00 for the service. I argued that the unit was defective from the beginning to no avail. I payed the $45.00. The representative who telephoned to make an appointment for the semi-annual check left a message on my answering machine. I found her tone very sharp demanding. I opted to change my heating/cooling service company.

Description of Work: Riverside Heating & Air Conditioning evaluated my heating and air units in the home I had recently purchased. They gave the units a thorough inspection and explained the results in terms I could understand. I was offered a reasonably priced contract that I accepted. When my air conditioning unit broke down (it was 20 years old) I called on Andy to give me an estimate to replace it. He did not send a salesman but came personally and explained the different units. From his explanation I was able to decide which unit was best for my home and pocketbook. Andy explained that he could also replace my furnace, which was just as old as the cooling unit, but did not pressure me into making the additional purchase. His workmen were courteous and professional. They removed the old unit and installed the new one in a timely manner. No deposit was required and no money changed hands until the job was finished and I was satisfied. My contract was honored and my furnace was checked six months after I signed the maintenance agreement. I've had two problems with the old furnace and called Riverside. They sent a technician over almost immediately and fixed the unit. The charges were minimal as per the agreement. Now that I've decided to replace the old furnace I did not hesitate to call Andy and was given the usual courteous, informative treatment and explanation by his technician, Ron. I was given an explanation of what was needed, given enough information to decided exactly what was best for my home. I see no need to look to any other heating & air company to service my needs. Riverside Heating & Air Conditioning are the best.

Description of Work: Bought a four year old house in which Riverside had installed all HVAC (one AC unit, one heat pump, one furnace). The AC unit evaporator coil developed a leak and needed to be replaced.
