Description of Work: Front yard: renovation of truf, sprayed Roundup, grading, added topsoil, pruned maple trees, installed RTF fescue sod. Back yard: thatch removal and aeration (Bermuda grass).

Description of Work: Resolved drainage problem in back and side yards. Removed and pruned numerous large trees. Added irrigation system in back portion of yard. Leveled yard and brought in topsoil. Defined garden beds and mulched and sodded. Added river rock.

Description of Work: Later and leveled the gravel base for a patio I'm installing, leveled out lumps and holes in my yard

Description of Work: Took everything out of my front and back yards down to dirt and sodded with a new irrigation system, shrubs and mulch. Tree branches and some mature hedges were kept and pruned.

Description of Work: Added drainage system, stone patio, sod, gravel walkway, and garden boxes. Company did not show up when they said they would. Did not complete project by their prescribed time table. Backyard still floods, and we have maybe 30 percent of the original laid sod. Was told they would be available if issues arise but they've fallen off the radar after they got paid.

Description of Work: I have been having my lawn done by Pro Landscapes for years. Although the business name has changed from Lawncare of Hampton Roads, the quality of work provided is still reliable and done in a timely manner. If the weather prohibits them from coming the usual time, Chris sees to it that our property is taken care of as soon as possible. If the work needs tweaking all I need to do, is let Chris know and the crew makes sure to take extra steps asap. I enjoy the professional and courteous manner in which the crew always performs. Pro Landscapes also provides landscaping services beyond grass cutting. It is a full service company that includes mulching, leaf removal, landscaping, hardscaping, and irrigation installation and maintenance. I recommend them for anyone's landscaping needs.

Description of Work: Rennovated backyard, including new Bristol Stone pavers and landscaping.

Description of Work: Chose Lawncare of HR because it was endorsed by Angie's List. tarted service 5/8/14, with 7 step service. First treatment 5/12, when Chris started promoting irrigation system. This continued several times. Also noted "nutsedge" which was not covered by the 7 step chemicals. Additional costs of approx. $75 required to address problem. Refused. On 10/8 Aeration and o/seeding performed. 11/28 rec'd bill for A & OS. Mailed pmt. Called and complained about spotty germination. Was told to wait until Spring. Called in Spring and told new office manager and messages were not forwarded. Complained that 6+ treatment were not performed, Chris said he would take care of it. Chris came out 1 or 2 times to treat chickweed. Truck had NEW COMPANY name. Last time I have seen or heard from Chris. Applications were not forewarned and follow-up customer service was weak or none. I told Chris when I first talked with him that I wanted a company that would respond to my calls. He did not, and why the need for a new company name? I am questioning my continued use of Angies List.

Description of Work: Paver work....love it. Re-design back yard and new flower bed in front yard. Great company. Couple of the plants died, but they promptly replaced.

Description of Work: We called for an estimate on Thursday or Friday, and they scheduled the appointment for that Saturday 4/7. Phone call was very professional. Chris came out on Saturday to do the estimate for some work we wanted done in back yard. He was running a little late, but called, and it was truly no problem. He said we could expect to get an emailed estimate by that Tuesday. We received no estimate. Initally we figured he just needed a little more time, he seemed busy. The next Tuesday passed, April 17th. No estimate. I emailed the company, thinking perhaps our email address was either given or written down wrong. To date we have had no word from this company. Will not use, and would never recommend.

Description of Work: Lawn Care of Hampton Roads' big deal lawn cleanup was first rate. The crew worked with great efficiency, accomplishing everything within the two hours promised. Rainy weather had prevented two previously scheduled visits, but rescheduling was done efficiently and courteously. I hope to continue using this splendid service.

Description of Work: Very professional crews that came and worked very hard to level my yard. Right now they are keeping an eye on my sod to make sure it takes hold.
