Pros -Well spoken -Good price -Mostly professional -Siding looks good from a distance -was for the most part responsive Cons -Left exterior electrical outlets hanging, not mounted, The electrical boxes behind the outlets were not fixed to anything.. When they "fixed" them they didnt put boxes in just screwed the outlets into the sheathing under the siding. -The covers on the outlets didn't fit and couldn't be opened or closed properly because they were not designed to be mounted in the siding frame they were trying to mount them in. -He did send someone out to fix the exterior outlets but they didn't do a very good job. One of the outlet covers was stuck closed and I had to pry it open. The other was left wedged open and would not close. I had to mount electrical boxes and replace the outlet covers myself with a style that fit. He did offer to come out again to fix the outlets but I told him I would take care of it. This was before I realized there were so many other issues. When his employee came out to fix the outlet they went under the house and took siding that he had left behind and told me I could keep as extra extra. When I called he denied that they would have done that. He contacted me back not too long after and admitted they had removed it and apologized. According to the owner this was due to miscommunication because the employee was not a native english speaker. Before I realized the issues below I asked him to come out and take a look at some small roof issues at another house. He said he would but never showed up and never heard back from him about it. Tried to contact him about the issues below, I left a voice mail but he never called me back. Left a lot of gaps in the caulk around the windows and around the siding frames around the outlets. I had to caulk the windows myself. Some of the gaps were so big I could see the sheathing under the siding and the gaps were plenty big enough and in locations that left unfixed water would have been pouring into them. The siding that was cut to outline the frame was not cut properly, it is jagged and in some spots as much as an inch and a half away from the siding outlet frame Exterior security lighting was not mounted properly and when I try to adjust the lights the entire fixture moves. Unfortunately these are mounted very high so I am left with either hiring someone else to come fix them or I will need to find a 30ft ladder to fix them myself. I figured this out when a neighbor complained that the light was left pointed directly into her daughters window and I tried to move the light away from her window. If not for that I never would have spotted this issue. the 45 cuts on the metal wrap around the windows were bulging away from the window and left un-caulked. This is a rental property. Luckily I was doing some work on the property as well so I had the opportunity to spot these issues. If not the house would have been left with water pouring down behind the siding in several areas. In my opinion If you are someone who is capable of going behind this company and repairing the issues they leave behind this might be a good reasonably priced option but if you want to know that the job was done completely right you may want to look elsewhere.
