Description of Work: We called East Coast Appliance for two reasons. 1. Our house was hit by lightning and our stove hood needed repair. 2.) Our Bosch dishwasher was recalled due to a malfunction that could cause a fire. The first hood repairman acted as though he had never seen a stove hood before. He had no idea how to repair it but "thought" we needed some new parts. When we didn't hear from either him or the company I called. Left a message. The call was not returned. We called again. The call was not returned. Then on a third call I was asked if I wanted the part ordered. I said I did and did not hear from them again for 3 weeks. Called again and was told the first serviceman was no longer with them, but they would go ahead and find out about the part. By this time I heard from Bosch and was told East Coast Repair was the dealer to fix the dishwasher. Today a repairman who looks like he knows what he is doing is repairing the hood. (He can't finish the repair because the office did not order the right parts and he needs to come back after the new parts are ordered.) He was also supposed to fix the dishwasher. The office never told him what was wrong with the dish washer and failed to order the part necessary for the repair. We decided to no longer use their services for the dishwasher. Called another repairman who was on the road. He asked us to call his office, but not before he told us that he knew about both the dishwasher recall and the necessary part. East Coast often said they would call 'the next day" and never did. Today when we called about the dishwasher part we were told it wouldn't be dealt with until Thursday. We had to tell them that it was Thursday. This is the most dysfunctional company with which we have ever dealt.

Description of Work: I purchased a washer from them.
