CHEEK BROTHERS FLOORING SVC

Description of Work: Jimmy Cheek originally installed our hardwood floors when our house was built in 2015. I noticed some wear and tear on the finish 7 years later and asked him to come out to tell me what he thought about the condition and what I needed done to the floors. He said he'd come the next day at noon, instead, his son-in-law showed up. I expected him to tell me what needed to be done and what condition the floor was in. Instead, he asked me what I wanted done? I said I'd like his opinion about what was needed to be done. He pointed out some cracks in the floor and asked me about them. How would I know since they installed the floors? He also told me that they don't move furniture or carpeting, and we'd have to do all that if we wanted another coating applied. Finally, I asked him what it would cost to put another coat on it, and he said he couldn't do it. When my husband called him later to discuss it, Jimmy said I was rude, and they don't want to work with us. Really? That's how you behave? I think if you want rude service, be sure to call Jimmy.

Description of Work: Sand and stain stairs

Description of Work: Wasn't happy with the difference in stain color on my refinished hardwood. They assumed I would know that there was a difference in the hardwood on my stairs and my floor and that the stain would be darker so they said that is why they did not explain the fact to me. It was also a good thing we are planning to repaint the walls on the stairway as they did not tape and there is stain on the walls

Description of Work: Replaced kitchen flooring with oak hardwood flooring.

Description of Work: The Cheeks brothers installed herringbone floors in our master bedroom. It was very difficult to find someone with this skill set. They came in with confidence and did a fantastic job! There was no lag time, and they finished when they said they would. Very hard working and good, honest people. I would definitely recommend and use again.
