Bush's Electric Company

We were impressed with the timeliness and quality of the work performed. They arrived ahead of the scheduled time, got right to work and completed the replacement of the outdoor outlets in no time at all. The business card says "Quality Workmanship" and that's exactly what they provided!

Andrew Bush called me soon after I purchased the deal online, which was a Friday. We scheduled for Monday morning. He showed up on time, did the job quickly and efficiently. Couldn't be happier. He charged me $50 for parts, which was a new breaker, so the whole job cost me $150. That was lower than 2 other estimate I had obtained. It's worth mentioning that I'd called 4 other providers and the soonest they could schedule for the job ranged from 10 days -1 1/2 months. Needless to say, Andrew Bush is who I call next time I need an electrician.

They are awesome! They came on time (early, actually), explained the problem, had no problem when we asked them to do additional work. Their fee was both affordable and appropriate - we were pleasantly surprised. We actually called them out a second time and have recommended them to friends.

Absolutely phenomenal! Came out the same day as initial call. Quick service and willing to answer questions. Would absolutely recommend to others. Will use Bush's for any future electrical repairs.

Scheduling was easy. They did very well. They were punctual, polite, and professional.

They were fast and efficient and did not charge for estimates. They just went in and did the work. I needed to have outlets replaced and they went in and did it. They did not beat around the bush (no pun intended). Another electrician who looked at the some outlets charged $49 to drive to the house. They wanted over $100 for the estimate and a total of $900 for the job. This is when I checked with Angie's List and the who job was done for $99.

He worked with me regarding my difficult scheudle, and was prompt, friendly and took care of my problem for me.

it went well. They were able to remove the unwanted fixtures and installed the fixture we wanted. Our front hall fixture is very high and they wee able to bring in a functional ladder. We opted to have them install the "skeletons" and add the drips, and rods ourselves and that worked out well.

Electric power line was reinstalled to the side of the house, and it was outstanding repair work. He called when he said he would call, and he arrived at our house when he said he would. We are extremely pleased with his work, and we would recommend him to others. And we will call him for future electrical work.

Showed up on time and ready to work. I had a big list and paid extra for them to stay and finish and it was worth every penny. I would call them back in a heart beat.

Just purchased new condo, so need new light fixtures installed and a light switch repaired. It was a big deal I paid$99 for 2 hours. Then I added work, so I paid an additional $62. Mr. Bush managed to fix the switch which was important to me. I also received some advice on a fan I wanted to hang. I have used them again. They were a little late in arriving, but did a good job once at my home.

Andrew and John came out and relocated and rewired my ceiling fan towards the middle of my ceiling and also installed another 3-way switch at another entrance to the room. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. Bravo Zulu!

Initial contact was made after purchasing a Big Deal coupon on 5/5/2014 for electrical work. I was selling my home in the provider's service area and it required an electrical panel replacement. The house is currently vacant pending settlement in mid-July. After some email correspondence, I was given a date of May 20th for the work to be performed. On June 4th, I called and left a message asking how the work went and to make sure they had my home address to send the bill to. On June 5th I followed up with an email and did not receive a response until June 9th where I was told the coupon doesn't cover electrical panel replacement. I immediately called the company and found no work had been performed. I asked the provider where on the coupon it stated that it could not be used towards electrical panel work, and then was offered to apply it towards the balance of a panel replacement (approx $1200). A new appointment was scheduled for June 17th at 0900. That day came and went with no response from the provider to my emails or phone messages. The most recent phone message was left on July 2nd and to-date has still not been returned. My Realtor stopped by the property on July 3rd and confirmed no work had been completed. I'm currently working with Angie's List to apply this credit towards another company as this saga has dragged on beyond the normal 30-day refund window for deals. I decided to contact this company originally due to the numerous positive feedback responses from other customers about their promptness and quality of work. Unfortunately my experience was 180 degrees from any other customer's response.

They were about 30 minutes late for the appointment, but called me ahead of time to let me know. Three persons arrived and wasted no time in getting to work. They were very efficient and courteous. They were diligent in cleaning up the work area. The job took a little longer than anticipated but they ran into a problem when installing the pendant lights. They quickly analyzed and solved the problem. They did an excellent job.

It turned out great. I recommend him highly. I wanted to make sure that all the components in the antique chandelier were working before he hung it, which he did. I have used him before, and he is courteous, thorough, and has a nice assistant.

PERFECT! Scheduling with Bush's Electric Company for my Angie's List Big Deal (2 man hours of electrical work for $99) was an on-line breeze. They asked ahead of time what I basically wanted done, which ensured me they'd be ready to get it done. They called the night before to see if they could come an hour earlier than scheduled, which was fine with me. The owner and his assistant showed up on time and were both very professional and personable. They listened to my concerns, assessed the situations and then worked very well together as a team. They finished my first project within a hour, including ensuring a good caulking job on the exterior receptacles. Then I paid for another hour for them to drill through a (formerly exterior) concrete wall and some wood paneling to run wiring and install a new receptacle. Every thing looks, and works, perfectly - and they meticulously cleaned up after both jobs. Bush's Electric is the type of company every homeowner is looking for. Awesome - can't say anything negative...I called him yesterday, he showed up the next morning promptly at 0800 was gone by 1000 and it works and looks great. Mr. Bush and his coworker are very professional and polite and cleaned up...great all around experience. I definitely recommend Mr. Bush and will use him again.

Great! One of the outlets had too many wires attached to it, so he fixed that. The condo was built poorly. Then there was no "can" to both of hallway lights which was a safety issue. He ran to purchase these and then installed them. So now they are working and they are safe.

Please understand........the provider that I thought was in the NYC tri-city big deal area, was actually in Virginia. So, obviously I made a big mistake. When I phone him to check on times of appointment and then we both realized that I was no where near Virginia, he was very cordial and said there was no problem and would have the money immediately refunded.

Mr. Bush was very prompt in returning my email for request for service. I sent email out june 5th and asked if he could come the next day for I had family coming into town for the weekend (he then called me the day of 6th to squeeze me I unforuntely didn't get the voicemail till after services were performed but I still think it was awesome that he made time to get me in!) Mr. Bush and his assistant showed up right on time! and got to work as soon as I explained the issues at hand. They were very nice and kept me updated and informed on what was happening. they showed me the issues and the parts that were bad.They spent 3 hours working on the issue with having to go get parts twice on a job that should have been discovered by the plumber we had out before hand. they cleaned up everything when they were done. for 3 hours of service and two parts having to be replaced I paid $290.00 that was after the $99 coupon I had. I had to pay a little extra for the service of two men vs. one but it was well worth it. I really feel that he could have just told me it was a plumber job and he could have gone on his way, but instead they were just as determined as I was to get my hot water working! His assistant use to do heating an air an informed me of a few minor things that i could fix on my own that was separate issue from water which i thought was very nice and thoughtful. I am greatful they spared me more time an money to find a plumber to come fix it. I will deffiently use them again and refer them out to people! Great service!

They were so fast. Extrememly respectful and thorough. He explains things to you well. He is just wonderful. He doesn't get frustrated and just deserves credit for such great work. I plan to refer him to ANYONE who needs an electrician.

Technician called to advise the arrival time. He did his work promptly and left with time to spare. Courteous and respectful. He did an excellent job.

All was really great except the timeliness and communication regarding delays. I had to call every hour after the first hour the electrician was late and the progressive changes in estimated time to expect service provider. I do understand that there were unexpected issues with the prior job and that the traffic also caused delays, but the delay was so great, I would have really appreciated at a minimum hourly updates when the expected arrival times continued to change. The work was done in a very professional manner. In spite of time/communication issues, I will likely call upon Bushes Electric for future electrician services. Quality work is quality work. I hope to give an "A" rating next time.

We found him on Angie's List and called him after we got some cost estimates from the big hardware stores. He came very soon, arrived on time. He and his assistant did an excellent job and left everything in order. We felt his prices were very good and would not hesitate to call him in the future. We have already recommended him to friends.
