SEVERAL YEARS AGO I CALLED MI_____________ ELECTRICIAN TO CHECK AN OUTLET THAT WOULD ONLY WORK SOMETIMES. MI____________ ELECTRICIAN FOUND THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE OUTLET, BUT IT CAME TO A POINT THAT I COULD NOT USE IT AT ALL. A COUPLE OF YEARS WENT BY AND I FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT. MR. BUSH CAME IN AND FOUND THE PROBLEM RIGHT A WAY. . . THE OUTLET THAT MI___________ SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT WAS THE PROBLEM, THE GROUND WIRE HAD BEEN DAMAGED AND THROUGH THE YEARS IT BROKE AND CAUSED THE OTHER TWO OUTLETS TO STOP WORKING. HE REPLACED IT AND NOW I HAVE THREE WORKING OUTLETS.

We paid for the 2hours and Bush Electric company called and made an appointment . The job was to put lights inside and outside a newly constructed garage .The electrician who came did not seem interested or helpful.He seemed overwhelmed . My husband did not feel comfortable and hired another electrician who did a great job.

I called Friday late afternoon. They called and came out the same day, Saturday. They were punctual, very courteous and professional. Showed me the problems before repairing them. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. I will use them for any future electric work I need done and would highly recommend them to others.

They did the job in just 2 1/2 hours

An hour before they were originally scheduled to come out (a Friday) they called to reschedule due to their vehicle breaking down, which was much appreciated that they gave us the notice well in advance. Once they did come out the following Monday, they displayed professionalism and superb knowledge, even to the point of letting us know about other things that might need looking at, that they noticed, that weren't necessarily electrical. It indicated an intimate knowledge of good construction and home maintenance well above and beyond their particular field of expertise. I was very quickly at ease with their knowledge. As for the work itself, no problems at all. Outlet replacement/repair was smooth, and getting an unsafe wiring job out on the porch motion sensor light was no sweat. The biggest job was installing the under-sink outlet and that was easily done as well, including going under the house to route cable. I'll definitely be looking to call Bush's again for future electrical work! Highly recommended.

We couldn't be happier. We received a call immediately after purchasing the deal online to discuss the work to be performed and set a day and time to have the work done. They arrived on time and completed the work in the estimated time frame. They were very polite, competent and professional. I would highly recommend their services and we discussed other electrical work to be performed at a later date.

The service was excellent. My appointment was for 9:00 AM. He was running late but he sent me an email stating he was on the way and an approximate time for his arrival. When he arrived with another employee, they got right to work. They were careful bringing in ladders and equipment and made sure they wiped their feet each time they came in. When they were installing one of the fans, they pointed out I needed an additional part. They were only too happy to wait while my wife went to buy the part. I asked if he could check a GFI outlet in my bathroom while we waited for my wife to return and installed a new one for me for a modest fee. I was completely satisfied with the service provided and cannot recommend this company enough to anyone that needs electrical work done at their home.

I purchased a coupon.That was good. They showed up on time. They called me. Made sure they were gonna relay or something. They did good work. They called me the next day or so. It was real fast. Excellent customer service, that means a lot to me. The price was good. Very professional. I like their follow up. They'd call if they were late or call the schedule. Some people just don't call you back so excellent service was very good and their work was good.

He did a good job. He was late but he called me, so that was fine. He charged me for parts, but other than that, he didn't charge me for the labor. I would recommend them.

The vendor arrived, with 2 personnel. I had already emailed them, 5 days prior, with a complete detail of the work to be done. They ventured out of their van with no tools, and I showed them the work to be done in a garage. They meandered about some, asking mickey mouse questions about trivial stuff that had nothing to do with the tasks at hand. Then finally mosied back to their van to gather up their tool kits, which should have been brought in, in the first place. (as noted, I'd already given them a complete description of the tasks to be done.) It quickly became apparent that the 2nd worker was nothing more than a lackey and gopher-fellow. I mentioned that I didn't want any milking of the clock, as they were quick to state about their fee of $125/hour after the 1 hour. Again, none of this work was rocket science and it was all very easy electrical work for any experienced electrician. (Due to an upcoming inspection by the county, I simply wanted it done by a pro to ensure the passing of the county inspection. ) Nonetheless, these 2 frittered away gobs of time. The lackey installed the ceiling fan blades, which were then blatantly crooked and c***-eyed, which forced the electrician (Mr Bush) to have to waste time re-doing this simple task. They finished around the 69 minute mark. They then meandered about and loaded their van, and also made sure to make small talk about my brickwork, vehicles, and so on. It seemed we were good to go, when Mr Bush asked what time it was. I gave him the time of day, which was at the 81 minute mark. He then claimed that a "half hour" overage fee would have to be charged, at $62.50. I paid them with a check, knowing that this was a small price to pay to learn that this is a deadbeat firm I won't be doing any business with in the future. Their charging me a man-hour for a lackey was outrageous enough. But to then fritter and putter, just to milk the clock, and then charge me for an extra half-hour ...? Preposterous. I never understood the short sightedness of a firm looking to gouge an extra few dollars at the expense of hundreds and thousands of dollars down the road. Silly, really. At any rate, I wouldn't recommend these deadbeat connivers to anyone.

great - polite, on time, efficient

Emailed on Sunday from Angie's List. Explained I needed work done the next day. He responded immediately and said he would be at the house at 8:30am. He showed up on time. Was extremely polite and professional. Would definitely use his service again.

The big deal worked out very well. I was very pleased. The experience was good. They were on time, and they were punctual. I didn't have any bad experience.

It went fine. It was all worth wild as they found the problems. I had more work done than what the big deal purchased covered. Couple of lights not working right. I needed a couple of gfci switches installed in the bathroom and kitchen sinks areas. Updated my carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. They are very professional and know what they are doing. I attend on using them again as I have some more work coming up.

I had a problem with my circuit breaker throwing for a particular circuit. Bush came out and arrived on-time and they were very courteous while there. They were ablke to determine that one of my outlets was causing the problem, and they fixed that. They also replaced some outside receptacles that were not the proper code. I will definitely use them again when I need an electrician!

Mr. Bush and his assistant arrived on time, with appropriate equipment, and quickly completed the requested job. I purchased the Big Deal, and they did not try to make up the difference by overcharging for the installed hardware. Very professional; will be my electrician of choice in the future.

The builder of my house place the junction boxing providing power to the garage in a place where when it rained, water filled and shorted out the box. They moved the junction box to the correct position and replaced the power outlet. Overall they were great, fast response and showed up on time. They completed the work in a timely manner with no issues. Highly recommend for any one that needs electrical work.

I was not thrilled with them. They called right off the bat to let me know how much they charge per hour to let me know how much it would be for anything over the two hour limit. While they were quick to respond the communication wasn't the best due to a bit of back and forth at the beginning. It wasn't as seamless as other jobs that I've had done, but overall I feel they did a good job.

Overall, great experiences with Bush's Electric. Mr. Bush and his employee made me feel very comfortable base on the scope of the work and their expertise. While troubleshooting the flood light they discovered that the light fixture was inoperable therefore I had to replace it. While they were working on the other areas I had to go to Home Depot to get a new flood light fixture. I didn't hesitate or was concerned leaving them at my unsecured home while off to home depot and return. They show me the old GFCI in the garage and why it wasn't work. It was burnt and charred and why it keep tripping because a previous owner had an extension cord running to a light fixture on the deck that was connected to garage GFCI. It was buried in often standing water which was causing the electrical outlets on the deck not to work. I paid for 2 men for 2 hours at the $99 special, $198. The job took an extra 45 minutes therefore with material and labor, I paid an additional $215.00. It was well worth it and now I have a peace of mind and I can grill at night without using a flashlight! Because Mr. Bush recommended the 3 light LED (for low cost), my deck area lights up like daylight at night! Wayne Coleman, Chesapeake, VA.

This was my first time purchasing an Angie's List Big Deal. I purchased the $99 for two hours of electrical labor. Bush's Electric setup an appointment time of 12:00pm on 12/10/14. Andrew Bush and his co-worker John arrived at 12:33pm and were very polite and profession upon entering my home. They checkws the wires where the outlet was and found that they were connected to my ceiling fan. Andrew Bush advised me that it would cost $125.00 to install the new wiring and circuit. I advised to continue the work because I needed the outlet. They finished at 1:28pm. Before paying I inquired what was the $99 for two hours of electrical labor covering if I still had to pay $125.00. Mr. Bush read the description of the deal to me and said it covered one worker for two hours or two workers for one hour. I advised they had been there for a little less than an hour (I kept the timer on my cell phone running from the time I opened the door). Mr. Bush said he was glad I caught that and said it would cost $75.00 in addition to the $99 Big Deal I purchased. The Big Deal should have covered the all of the labor and I should have on had to cover the materials that should have been the difference between the $125.00 quoted and the $99.00 Big Deal. I had purchased the receptacle and face plate but the merchant used one they had. I paid because it was needed asap, because I have to get a washing maching. They did clean up when the job was complete. I rated a "B" because they were fast and polite. They would have received an "A" if they did a better job of honoring the Big Deal purchased.

I was very impressed with the friendly, but totally professional, attitude of Mr. Bush and the two electricians that came to help. Allgwere quite knowledgeable and had a few amazing troubleshootinh We have already discussed additional electrical projects that I'd like to have completed and I am looking forward to working with Bush's Electric Company again in the near future.

I was very impressed with Bush's electric company. We were having trouble with a circuit breaker - it kept popping and we did not know why. I called Bush's electric company because they are on Angies list with good reviews - and assumed it would be a couple of days before they would be able to come. They came that afternoon! There were three people (including the owner) and they were very professional. I explained what had been happening and they were able to diagnose the issue very quickly. They had the parts to fix it all right then and were in and out within an hour. The next day I thought that we were still having an issue; however, we were not - it was a short in our refrigerator. I called them up when I thought there was an issue, they helped me work through it over the phone, and then came back that afternoon to make sure everything was ok - even though I told them we were back up and running. They did not charge me for that extra visit. I was very impressed with them and feel very confident referring them other people! Leslie S.
