Bush's Electric Company

The owner arrived on time and immediately went to work. He was very cordial when he arrived, then went immediately to work. He was very intense and absorbed in his projects and the results were amazing. Mr. Bush is a master of his trade! The charge was exactly as quoted, the work was done on time, and I'm a happy camper with his electrical work. I will definitely use him and over and over again and recommend him highly!

I explained to them -- it was sort of an unusual request. They were excellent. We were 100-percent satisfied with them. They came out exactly as promised. There were two people involved, the owner and another gentleman, They did a splendid job and everything is working out beautifully. They actually did it in less time than they predicted. We bought the Angie's List special for two hours of labor and we did not spend any more than what we were charged. There wasn't anything else to it, I believe. It was just exactly what we bought off Angie's List. I would use them again in a minute.

I bought the deal off of Angie lists for two hours of electrical service. I had seen many good reviews about Bush's Electric so I thought I would try them out. I was not disappointed! I received an e-mail soon after I had made the purchase and once I had sent them my information and what I wanted done we settled on doing the job this afternoon. The arranged time was for 3:30. I received a call around this time to let me know that they were running late. They got to my place about 5:30 and they were very nice and apologized for being late. They did a great job on what I needed done and were finished in under an hour. They will be the first ones I call in the future for any of my electrical needs.

Great customer service, prompt return calls and great keeping me informed of choices and progress on the job. Despite being paid by a "deal" for their time, they were extremely expedient and might have been able to do more if I did not have to go get a fixture! All work was professional and they did not cut corners on one thing they could have...insisted on doing it "right".

The two gentlemen were very polite and worked well together and separately on different tasks. They cleaned up afterwards and I am pleased with the work performed. I was waiting to write the review until the plumber installed the dishwasher but that has not happened as yet.. If the work under the kitchen sink matches the other work performed I am sure all will be fine.

Good, but i payed for four hours of work, and tey were there approximately 1.5 hrs. I have more work to be done . Can they call me please?

Very professional organization. Bush's Electric called me within 4 hours of ordering service for appointment scheduling. Team of 2 showed up 10 minutes early and called before arriving. Upon arrival, quickly troubleshot why no power was being delivered to the garage outlets. During this process, Bush also repaired work from a previous electrician which was not standard. Team also installed a light outlet in a storage shed. Total time on site was approximate 1 hour. Overall, a very knowledgeable and professional group. Would highly recommend their services!!

Went very well showed up on time, however I had to get the GFI connector because the one they wanted to sell me was way overpriced, I'm happy however on how it turned out

My experience with Bush's Electric Company was, by far, the best Angie's List experience I have ever had! I hired the company because of an Angie's list deal and let me tell you, ninety-nine dollars for 4 hours of labor is a steal - especially when the quality of the work is A+! The owner, Andrew Bush, came out this morning and tackled my long laundry list of electrical projects with ease. Everything went without a hitch and I am very pleased with everything he did! He also has a great personality and allowed me to watch and talk as he did each task. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back in my home to do additional projects. I strongly recommend that my neighbors use him for all their electrical needs.

Bush's Electric Company did a great job. They were very courteous, very polite, great job and very efficient, I can't say enough good things about them. They were very proficient and they were also very efficient. I would day within an hour or 2 of me purchasing the coupon from Angie's List I received a phone call from the company asking me if I was ready to schedule the service. We decided on a day a week out and they came out. It was him and an assistant. They got right to work and were very courteous and very polite. They finished up everything that I asked them to do within the right amount of time. Overall I would definitely grade them an 'A', an 'A' plus if I could. The price was super. The quality of work is 'A' for sure. The responsive would be 'A' plus if I could. I was going to call them in a day or 2 but they called me right away. The professionalism would be an 'A' plus if I could.

.This provider called and explained what would be involved in my request, which made me decide not to have the work performed. He was honest and I would hire him if I changed my mind or for any future electrical service. Therefore, my review is based on his integrity only.

Outstanding job. They kept me updated on arrival time, were careful to lay down tarp and cleanup afterwards, and did an excellent technical job.

Great job. Good price via a 'Big Deal' and was willing to come out on a weekend for an appropriate extra amount. Would use again and would highly recommend.

It went horribly. We were in communication with them and had an initial appointment set up for June 5th from 1100-1300, we didn't hear anything from them until 1330, they called then to let us know they were running late (which obviously we knew, they were already an hour and a half late) and would try to be there around 1400. Well my wife had an appointment she had to be at at 1445, so she told them that time wouldn't work for our schedule. They replied with the statement they would be there on the 8th of June from 1600-1800, and we said OK and we would see them then. Now we purchased this Angie's List deal because we had family coming in town the 8th of June through the 13th of June (graduation week) and wanted to get these taken care of before family showed up. So fast forward to Monday the 8th of June. We didn't hear anything leading up to our appointment time of 1600 so we thought all was well. It wasn't, we busied ourselves with cleaning and doing all the little things that pile on us when we have family and visitors staying with you and before we knew it it was 1850 and we had heard nothing from Bush's. My wife called and spoke to "Mr. Bush" (owner??) and he said they were running late (DUH!! It's 1850!!) and would be there around 1930 or 2000. We said that wouldn't work for us as we were going to meet with the family coming in town and have dinner. To which he replied "Oh well". He never apologized or took responsibility for the issue or severe lack of communication. He wanted to try to schedule another day and we said no thank we would seek a refund. The only communication we received from them outside of Angie's List was the 1 phone call we received on the 5th of June.....ALL other times the communication was completely initiated by us. Unacceptable! **UPDATE** As of today October 12th, 2015 we have never received any communications from the business or Angie's List. Also no refund to speak of.

I saw a Big Deal for electrical service and bought it. I have aluminum wiring in my house. The outlets and switches had begun to oxidize and I knew they needed to be changed. Andrew called within hours of receiving notification of my purchase and promptly scheduled a service call within days. I requested that he purchase the parts needed to be sure they were correct. He agreed, arrived at the appointed time, reviewed locations of the outlet that needed to be replaced, and promptly got to work. I found him to be friendly yet professional. He answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. He also discussed other electrical 'projects' with me and gave me rough estimates of cost so that I can plan for future work. He left the work areas clean and neat. I highly recommend Mr. Bush to others.

We had originally wanted a new track type spot light put up in place of a pot light, to high-lite some art work. They partially took out the pot light then said it could not be done unless they cut a large hole in the ceiling. Since we did not want a large hole in the ceiling we decided not to go forward. We had also planned for them to change the ceiling fan from the current brass one to a nickle one to match the new light but, since they could not match the light we decided not to change the fan. So we asked them to install a connection for a satellite TV service in another room. They had a difficult time in doing this. We knew they would have to go under the house and provided access for them. At one point during the installation, one of them ask where the nearest hardware store was, I told him and gave him directions. He left and came back a bit later. They continued working but they seemed to be having a lot of difficultly. We have had other electricians install connections for satellite TV service and none have had the trouble that this company had. When they finally finished, my husband reminded them they had left the pot light hanging down from the ceiling and ask that they put it back up. They then said they worked over the allotted time and that we owed them $87.50 in addition. We did not argue at this point we just paid them. To be honest, we were a bit relieved to have them gone. We were very disappointed in this company. We would not use them again. I hate to write anything negative, but for me they did not leave a good impression that they knew what they were going.

We spoke an hour before he arrived to go over some details of the work I had in mind. It was my fault it wasn't the day prior, as I neglected to give him my number in messages. Mr. Bush showed up ten minutes before his scheduled time (+++) with assistant (4 hours is from two persons for two hours). He finished installing the exterior lights in 30-40 minutes and then asked what else needed to be addressed. It would have been very easy for him to have not volunteered to work on anything and everything that needed to be done, but he did. This is how what was a fairly straightforward installation of two lights turned into a solid two hours of labor. To me this is a huge plus, when he booked for four hours he meant to provide up to four hours and wanted to see everything was addressed. He had some supplies in his vehicle which (junction boxes and a circuit breaker) allowed him to complete this additional work. These he provided at a very fair price. That isn't a critique, but praise. I've had providers who turn having certain supplies into profit centers. Keep in mind he is providing labor and expertise, not materials. But if you are unsure what materials you need to have on-hand I'd say discuss it ahead of time with him. I will definitely be calling him again for any electrical work I need and would not hesitate to recommend him.

I would definitely use this company again. Two men came on time and listened as I explained the various issues we were hoping to have fixed. They were knowledgeable, professional, and got right to work. They installed two ceiling fans in our house and the fans work great. They told me when their was a bulb missing from the box, they cleaned up after their work, and they explained any pertinent details about the fans while they were doing the work. We also asked that they change our fridge's two prong outlet to a three-prong. They checked to make sure the house was grounded (it was, which made the work very simple), showed us how we could easily do this ourselves in the future, explained what they were doing every step of the way, and cleaned up after their work. This company was friendly and helpful!

The owner of the company and another gentleman came and did the work. They called and asked if they could come earlier than scheduled and I agreed. They were very professional and did the work requested. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.
