OUTSTANDING Service in ripping out the old fireplace and installing a new state of the art unit. The team of Jim, Juanita, Sergey, Mike, etc., (almost the whole team) did a superb job and corrected problems in the chimney box that we had not seen!!!! We use this team with all our fireplace needs they totally ROCK!!!!!!!!!

The service that Black Goose offered was excellent. Their inspection was thorough and they caught a problem that several other companies had missed. You felt that they were treating the job like it was their own home. Will not hesitate to hire again.

Outstanding. First time that I have ever had a company that actually measured the airflow before and after the cleaning. Cleaned roof vent and the dryer vent pipe very thoroughly.

Awesome service! Dryer had been taking longer to dry for a while, to the point it took 2-3 cycles and still didn't dry. Technicians were extremely prompt, actually earlier than promised, and took plenty of time to diagnose the problem with backflow and air speed meters, could actually see the difference before and after. Had a major blockage--pegged the backflow meter and only 400 ft/min, ended up with less than .2 backflow and over 1400 ft/min. Very generous with time and advice. First batch of clothes dried in less than one cycle, working like a brand new dryer! Don't know why I waited so long, extremely pleased with the service, would definitely hire again.

They sent out two guys that were very friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again.

It went perfect. The two men were ahead of time by 5 minutes. I welcomed them and showed them the inside dryer location and the outside dryer vent location. They set right to work. Following their inspection and cleaning they explained that part of my problem was the dryer was too close to the wall vent. So when they moved the dryer back into position they had placed bricks (from my extra supply in the yard) so the dryer would not be too close to the back wall. Both young men very polite and took great care with the job. They were here less than 45 minutes. GOOD JOB.

They arrived on time and conducted a thorough inspection of the chimney inside the house and on top of the second story roof. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable and didn't recommend any unnecessary work. They provided me with pictures of all of the areas they inspected.

The inspector could not find the cause of the leak, but suspected it was due to some caulking that needed to be replaced. So, they did some re-caulking.

The techs were pleasant efficient and very helpful as they inspected my gas log fireplace. They explained what they did and answered my questions clearly.

Sergey and Ian Gardner were great! very professional and friendly. They went above and beyond. they inspected the old refractory panels, took measurements and then cut new ones right at our house. They worked quickly and got the job done right. thank you!

Out standing Showed up on time, every time. Installers were very professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. Installers went above and beyond the install of the insert and repaired a leaky flash that had separated from chimney bricks. The woodstove showed up with a couple defective/damaged parts from the manufacture, Black Goose called while on-site, parts were shipped from the manufacture in a timely manner and installed. Scheduling an appointment and showing up or arriving on time is a rare commodity in our area, I have nothing but high praise for their commitment in meeting these obligations. It went well, they put a cover over the top of the chimney incase of rain while the new pan/cap was being made. (it was a rainy period) As soon as weather permitted they came out and completed the job. I had the choice of galvanized or stainless steel. I picked stainless steel.

They were on time and very professional. He checked the fireplace, took pictures and answered all my questions. Very good service. I would definitely recommend.

Black Goose was on time for all 3 appointments. They were very respectful of our property both inside and outside of the house. The inspection was very thorough. I did not need a chimney cleaning but, I was shown and provided pictures of an area just above the firebox and below the flue liner that had not been filled with mortar correctly during initial construction. The inspectors then went up on the roof (2 story) and inspected the chimney and crown. This required bringing a ladder up on the roof for a very thorough inspection. I did choose to have Black Goose repair the chimney crown with a flexible waterproof mortar. While a little expensive, I realized that I wanted someone with substantial experience doing the repair on the top of the chimney which was 30+ feet above the ground. The technician that came out was very experienced and professional taking the time to thoroughly clean the existing surface before applying the new flexible mortar. Again, before and after pictures were taken with a tablet and provided to me. While the interior firebox to flue repair was a very small area, it was 4 feet above the damper. I called several masons to see if they could do the repair. After looking at the area only one said he could do it. When he showed up to actually do the work it turned out that he could not. I called Black Goose and the work was done without any problem. The technician was on time, completed the work in approximately 1 hour and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. Needless to say, I am very pleased with my 3 experiences with Black Goose Chimney.

Everything went fine. I wasn't home at the time, but my husband had no complaints.

The crew was very professional and courteous. They did outstanding work preparing the chimney for the winter season.

The project went very well. The initial visit/inspection identified a number of issues at the top of the brick chimney. Photos were provided of each item. The work plan was developed, scheduled and executed and we are very pleased with the work which included replacement of a missing brick, grinding of the mortar between the other bricks at the top and pointing. From the ground, you can't tell that repairs were done.
