Description of Work: I brought them in to clean and inspect the chimney in our newly purchased house (I wasn't sure if or when it had been last cleaned). After inspecting the chimney they told me it was fine and didn't need to be cleaned. I really appreciated their honesty. I also appreciated the money it save me.

Description of Work: These amazing folks came to clean and inspect our chimney on our new home. John came out with a helper and not only cleaned our chimney, but also inspected our outside and took pictures before and after. Perfect, professional and super nice.

Description of Work: They relied our chimney and fixed the brickwork on the top of the chimney. Also replaced the cap on 2 chimneys. They were always professional, polite and explained everything they did. It was more than we expected but you get what you pay for. They came a little under the estimate.

Description of Work: Black Goose quotes a price for coming out and inspecting chimneys and cleaning. I informed them that I had a woodstove. They said that was not a problem, and that they could still handle the job. Once at my home, they were unable to perform the work because they did not have the manpower necessary to remove the woodstove, even though it was clearly indicated that I had a woodstove installed. I was required to reschedule. The day before they were scheduled to return, they attempted to reschedule yet again because they had a "big job." I would not accept that excuse and insisted they come out because my daughter had changed her schedule to be there. This time they gave us a projected price that was several hundred dollars higher than that which they had originally quoted us, and said that they would have to cut parts of the wood stove to remove it, charging an additional $250 an hour on top of everything else. Needless to say, they did not complete the work and will not be back.

Description of Work: We have used them in the past with positive results. This time there were 3 "mishaps" of why they could not keep their original 2 appointments. However, they were still faster than the competition could see us despite having a burning smell in our dryer venting. In the end although they thoroughly crawled under the house and took photos they could show us on the iPad, they were NOT able to do the work
