They only do termites but we'd like something more all-encompassing.

I am very pleased with Bales. They always call me to let me know they will be out to monitor the termite stakes or to spray for insects. They were recommended to me by a friend for their honesty when a tree close to my house had termites. So far, so good.

Bales comes to my house four times a year to bait for mice. We started having a problem about 2 years ago and finally got the upper hand this spring, but they have started coming in the kitchen again this fall. They are good with baiting them, but only this visit did they offer to look under the house to see if they could block off areas where the mice are getting in, and are writing up an estimate to seal the gaps. I had asked them three times previously (during mouse inspections) to put together an estimate for moisture and termite control, but today was the first time the staff had time to do an inspection to actually create the estimate. Before, they were going to schedule a visit but never did. Hopefully we will see an estimate in the mail.

They let me know when they are coming out.

We have been using their services at our home and business for seven years. We have been very pleased with them.

I called Bales in the middle of last week, spoke to the very nice Jessica, and she gave me an appointment almost immediately. They came within the time window that I had been given. The young man who came to do the work was courteous, professional, and answered all of my questions quite knowledgeably. He made me aware of other services that I may need in the future without pressuring me, ensuring that I will be calling them again as the need arises. Seems to be a good, reliable company

It was just fine. He put some bait boxes in the attic and around the house. We hope they are gone! I hired him becuase the company services the church I attend and he did a good job and they are pleased with him. I am very pleased with his services as well! The price was also reasonable.

This was a return visit as part of an annual contract for rodent control. We live in an old house and the mice set up house over the winter. During the first visit they set bait stations and gave geat advice on reducing the house's attactiveness to mice. During this visit they checked the bait stations and refilled them. We have not seen any mice of late but almost all of the bait stations were nibbled on. Hopefully that will not be the case next time they are checked.

They did a good job and I was satisfied with their service. The owner takes the time to explain things and is very knowledgeable when compared to other vendors that I have used in the past.

I had mold growing under my house that was causing wood destruction and odor in the living areas. Several companies wanted to use other methods to remedy the situation. I did some research and found out that crawlspace encapsulation is the ONLY remedy. I had two other companies give me estimates on the work needed. One was higher than Bales, and one was much lower in price. All three wanted to use different methods to complete the job. Anthony, from Bales, came out and gave me a clear and concise evaluation of what was happening and what it would take to fix it. This was after I had two other companies come out and tried to pressure me to sign for repair right then. Bales, not only did not pressure me, but rather told me to think about it and let them know what I decide. They had several different options to try and fit my budget. I was extremely impressed by the presentation. Also, they gave me a book called "Crawlspace Science". It was VERY informative. They offered me a package deal at a reasonable cost. They started and finished on-schedule. While working under the house, one of their workers inadvertently knock my dryer's vent hose loose. It was a easy accident as I had that thing virtually wedged in there. I've knock it loose myself. Anyway, I called Anthony and he came out on his day off and fixed it for me. Again, I was impressed. I did my homework, and Bales was telling me mostly what I had been reading about the Clean Space encapsulation method and material, except for one very important thing (for me), they used foam spray on the foundation walls, effectively super-insulating the crawlspace from ALL the outside elements. Immediately I noticed the temperature of the hard wood floors begin to warm, which made my heating unit run less, and my feet felt warmer too ! They also removed the insulation from crawlspace side of my floors and sprayed to kill all the mold. None of the other companies spoke about doing this. They said they would leave the insulation up and the mold would die when the crawlspace humidity was controlled. Wrong. They might hibernate, but they don't go away either. If you Dehumidifier went out, the mold would begin to grow again. Anyway, Bales did a good job. I have a few minor issues with them, but much less than anyone else who ever did major work on my house. I am sure their method is the BEST method for crawlspace encapsulation, I've done A LOT of research, but using that foam is saving me more money than it takes to run the Dehumidifier under the house. If you are having mold issues, I would give them a call !

I have used Bales several times. They have helped me get rid of bees, ants and spiders.

Perfect. The humidity level in the house dropped as well as our heating and cooling bills.

I have had Bales protecting my home for several years, using both termite and general insect/pest controls and have been very pleased with their promptness, appropriate professionalism and thoroughness. My experience with the most recent work on the rental house was definitely more of the same. Over the years work has been performed by a number of different employees and they have all exhibited the same care and attention to the job at hand. I consider the charges to have been appropriate and reasonable.

We have been using Bale's for several years, and up to this point they have been able to keep our house termite free. As always, the technician showed up right on time, and wasted little time with small talk. He was extremely thorough, and went over the same areas with great care, and finished in sixty minutes. We feel much more comfortable after the annual inspection has been completed.
